Most professionals do value lived experience voices and spend time listening to it on a daily basis. Those pros don’t say they are expert or pretend to speak for all.
Those with lived experience also don’t pretend they are professionals and make claims unsubstantiated.

One of the problems with JT is she’s making suggestions she’s supporting numbers of women as a professional psychologist and that she’s lived experience. The first claim is questionable as she does not hold the clinical qualifications needed.

12 likes out of 97k followers and 2 scathing comments and she’s so desperate for attention she’s retweeted it herself 3 times in under 2 hours 😂😂😂

She’s utterly shameless. The reaction is as you would expect from such blatant hypocrisy and opportunism.

She recently tweeted that failure doesn’t bother her at all. But the learning process that comes from critical self reflection following failure is so important for our development.

Jessica failed here and there are lessons to be learned about listening, respectful and appropriate public discussion, respecting boundaries, the importance of empathy and compassion, controlling ego etc etc which Jessica desperately needs to reflect on.

I’m no expert on trauma informed theory and practice - or Jessica - but I’m sure she will appreciate that I’m just sharing an opinion 🤷‍♀

Its almost like she's admitting she never feels any remorse or guilt.

I wonder when she wrote that article. Had she already written it and had it poised, ready to send to a load of papers to see who bit? Did she pitch it before they even knew she was dead? I wouldn't put neither past her.

If you are here loitering Jess here’s a message for you

You are disgusting doing this her family have begged amateurs like you and the media to stop all this carry on but you are so fake and fame hungry you have ignored them to promote yourself. No morals, no ethics and no idea what you are talking about as you are NOT a clinical psychologist nor a forensic psychologist you got your Dr title from writing a glorified essay on victim blaming and the uni were probably glad to see the back of you so the public should know you are a fake. You latch on to everyone Amber Heard,Britney Spears, Meghan Markle and now Nicola but you carry on as people can see you for who you are. Didn’t you also claim that mental health doesn’t exist, autism doesn’t exist and ADHD doesn’t exist and that hearing voices is normal and use victims of sexual abuse life stories without consent in your books?? You say you didn’t but your publisher confirmed it and the British Psychological Society said your consent processes should be more robust. You bring the profession of psychology into disrepute and the irony is you are not really what the public think a psychologist is. I will give you this though you are the BEST snake oil salesperson I’ve ever come across.

If you go on this tweet and read the replies the article, JT and also Independent Voices are getting a lot of backlash. As others have said… don’t think it’s getting the reaction any of them hoped.

Love to see it. She really is the worst kind of unqualified talking head. I'm not a proponent of public pile-ons generally but in this instance I think it's appropriate and proportionate considering the harm she does.

Even in the face of justified criticism of how she has used Nicola's tragic death for the sole purpose of boosting her own profile, she still can't admit she was wrong, even going as far as to double down on her lies.

Jess if you're reading this (everyone here knows you do) you're a despicable excuse for a "Dr/Psychologist"

Didn’t she say the dog would have gone in after her if she had fallen in the river?

What counts as ‘speculation’ to Jessica? Because saying the situation feels off, making comments about the dog’s behaviour on her large platform and encouraging public discussion about it seems exactly what the family asked public figures & the media NOT to do.

Doesn’t miss the opportunity to include the phrase ‘I was right’.

It's so sick. Its just another example of her using a victims story, without anyone's permission, to make money.

She said a lot of things, which didn't turn out to be true. She hinted at the husband being the issue, that she wasn't in the river (multiple times), hint enough stuff and of course one of them will come true. So her hint that the investigation was off (which could have meant a number of things), she's attributed to the investigation not being conducted well - something a tit ton of other people said right before she said it. Well done Jess, great detective work there.

Inbetween two of your amateur sleuthing threads, came the "people who put me down have been cursed with watching me rise" tweet. It was like all the tweeting about someone else was too much for you and you had to make yet another grand statement about how amazing you are. Like a child who is jealous of someone else getting the attention.

Jess' tweets are so ittational and all over the place it really shows her state of mind. If you didn't read tattle the majority of them make no sense and have no relevance or context.

Yes, if I remember correctly she said something about having a spaniel herself so that's how she knew what the dog would do and something about the phone as well, and now she's trying to turned it around by saying that when she originally said that the investigation "felt off" to her, what she was actually implying by that statement was she somehow magically knew there was a safety and wellness check performed so she was right all along...instead of what she was actually doing and insinuating that it was something more sinister or a VAWG type situation!

She based the dog tweet on the fact she THOUGHT HER dog MIGHT do it (because unless she's fallen in a river she doesn't actually know what her dog would do, or anyone else's).

She truly believes all her experiences are architypical. Which is why she deems herself an expert on DV, RSV and trauma based off HER experiences.

I think it's because she lives in this bubble she's created where everyone around her showers her with praise and no one disagrees with her. She has made herself the centre of her own universe. I don't think she sees any value in other people, I'm not sure they really exist to her, other than when she needs them to further her own agenda.

If the thing she is doubling down on is that the investigation ‘felt off’ to her, it’s embarrassing. It’s such a vague thing to say that it basically means nothing at all. She’s based her ‘feeling’ on information available in the media and nothing else. Not even any actual working knowledge of how police investigations are conducted. She hasn’t a single piece of expertise relevant to the case (even her being an owner of a spaniel). Who in the hell would care about her gut feeling on the matter. What a massively inflated dose of self-importance that one has. This has to be one of the most embarrassing things she’s done publicly.

Of course she's fallen in rivers. She was falling in rivers before anyone else even thought of it. In fact, without her groundbreaking research into the nature of rivers, we wouldn't even know that rivers exist. In fact, without her work - by which I mean meaningful selfies captioned with song lyrics and the exhortation to "Think about it" - we probably wouldn't even know about gravity, which enables falling.
