My other half worked in India last year and he had to get vaccinated 6 weeks before travel 1. For them to be effective 2. To ensure no adverse reactions 🤣🤣

oh god, I was acquainted with a lad growing up who went all "stereotypical middle-class white Westerner who has found Eastern religion instead of getting a job", and he went off to a retreat in India with no vaccines because "Shiva will protect me" and he got the shits so bad he had to come home early

He can’t get vaccinations in Turkey cos the idiot has left it til the afternoon of the day before he travels to sort it 🤦🏼‍♀️ He clearly didn’t tell his “best friend” Adam who he’s been three wheeling with that he hadn’t had them either as he’s been commenting on his Facebook posts with advice. Paul can’t do anything, can he?! He’s literally useless! He doesn’t plan properly at all, he thinks he can just buy a cheap plane ticket, book basic accommodation and that’s it.

He was saying on 20 August that he was going to get in touch with Turkish mountain rescue and go climbing. He’s never mentioned it again and obviously never went. Why’s he so obsessed with mountain rescue?! Even on his old “climbing” videos he’s just wearing trainers, he has no proper equipment.

the video editor thing is also bizarre. Back when he was in Tenerife not finding Jay Slater, he was getting hundreds of thousands of views on TikTok. Now it’s only 1 or 2k views at best as no one’s interested any more. And those are probably mostly people like me who can’t not watch cos he’s fascinatingly bizarre and annoying. I honestly think the video thing all hot air - theresand he’s doing it to make people think he’s really important and successful still, sort of manifesting it? If you say it enough it must be true, sort of thing. He really believes his own hype though and it’s beyond cringe. I hate how un-humble he is and brags about all his supposed achievements, experience, even about his family “all over the world”.

"guys, it turns out getting these vaccinations are a lot more important than I realised"

he's called five diff. hospitals, it's been "absolutely insane and it's been an absolute nightmare". He says he's spoken to lots of different doctors. Two vaccines he can get at a pharmacy, two he has to get at a hospital at 8:30 tomorrow morning. He needs to be at the airport for 10am, it's going to be crazy. He shouldn't be getting all the vaccines together but it's the best he can do right now. He's off to the pharmacy to get Hep A and Typhoid now, tetanus and something else at the hospital tomorrow. It's a Bank Hol in Turkey so loads of stuff is closed.

First pharmacy turned him away, "I don't know why but he definitely doesn't like me, I don't know why, I don't know why, this guy hates me". [Could it be because you walked into his pharmacy looking like a highlighter demanding a vaccine you should have had six weeks ago?]

Paul is off back to the hotel to get them to call him a taxi.

*two hours later*

Long taxi journey, he's been to three different pharmacies and the hospital. It's been a nightmare. A lovely doctor called Aiza is going to give him the vaccines tomorrow. She's going to pick him up in a taxi before she starts work and drive round to try and find the two vaccines he needs, then take him to her private clinic to have the other two.

Paul's travelled all round the world and never had vaccines and been absolutely fine. But he wants to be careful. He doesn't know how long the vaccines will take but he could be in mystery country for a while. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE.

The latter; he has the shits and we have the giggles!

On his FB one loon has told him that he doesn't need any vaccines, or even the malaria tablets, she/he recommends homeopathic medicine instead, their friends have used it to go back & forth to India and it's kept them well!

Another said she'd travelled to lots of places and never had vaccines or been unwell, was tempted to say that Ibiza, Majorca, Portugal or the Canaries don't count.

Also I’ve never been to India but always assumed they don’t serve beef or it isn’t as easy to find. Same with the macdonalds there, assumed they didn’t serve beef.
