This is alleged but there's a photo of James which does owe some credibility to what Milly's source is saying.

I don’t think there was ever a formal agreement to refer to him but like with social services, the council and NWAS I imagine on a local level referrals did happen.

All three of those tried to deny any link but he did have evidence of individual employees signposting to him in each of those cases, I bet he has the same from ageUK tbf.

It’s the murky part with him - the charities can deny it was policy to refer to him and they can be telling the truth but he’s also not really lying when he says he received referrals from them because he did receive them from individual employees representing the companies/doing their jobs.

What the charities and councils etc should really be looking at is why people they employees/who volunteered for them referred to him while they were representing that company/charity/council - but it’s easier for them to just deny association and hope people will think he’s lying.
 
I’d do shocked face reaction, but it would be a lie because I’m not shocked, not even a little bit. However low I imagine this cretin could go, I’m certain he’d find a way to go lower. Total scum.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this isn’t the worst of his behaviour. There will be *something* that does shock me, probably something criminal, definitely something revolting.
 
Gives me the creeps to think of him having access to vulnerable people's homes. There were photos of him in old people's bedrooms.
I would not be a bit surprised if he went through their drawers and stole things from them. Especially if they had memory problems and no relatives.
Surely to goodness there has to be police involvement at some point?
I know Hugh Grant won't comment but what must he think of a man who bought a house for his relatives and spent thousands a week gambling donated money.

I think tax fraud is the least of his misdeeds at this point.

If he’s gambling away £1k a day in cash, that money has got to have come from somewhere in the Depher accounts. He may have been stupid enough to just directly transfer himself cash or just withdraw it from the bank (claiming it was for ‘wages’ etc). There’s no way you’d just have so many £1000s of pounds laying around that you never had to withdraw or transfer it from elsewhere. There will be some sort of trace, in the accounts, as to where money was coming (and disappearing) from.

Do many gambling addicts steal thousands of pounds from donations to help the elderly and poor with heating costs?

Gambling addiction or not, he’s chosen to steal. Not just that, but actively abuse those who asked questions about his stories and crazy financial decisions.

Help = significant prison time. If it’s true, then why not get help already? Why keep stealing money meant to help others?? There are multiple elements of personal choice here.

Theft and fraud are theft and fraud. Abusing those who have called those things out is vile.
