I just think it's weird to claim tattle hasn't raised stuff prior to twitter when they've routinely taken stuff from here.

Meanwhile yesterday's twittet claim is Decky was hitting the company tiktok brandishing a gun and asking for "burds" to his houseparty but nobody had one second to take a screenshot to evidence this. 🫣 But don't you dare not believe everything you read over there. 😂

Oh definitely, a combination of terminally online and not knowing the geography misinforming that particular opinion.

I lived in a small northern town for 30 years and as my Dad once observed 'it's like a fish tank that never gets cleaned, tit just goes round and round forever.' Even if Saint Gummy of the Boilers' only offence was skimming 5% of the cost of a donated boiler into his back pocket someone in a working man's club would have been calling him a cowboy, to suggest he went under the radar in his local community prior to twitter noticing is just ignorant.
 
I would stand by anything I've posted on here, but the reason I joined was directly criticising some of these people on social media wasn't worth the blowback. If I had said to Jack Monroe 'you've costed these two recipes using different methods which is not a fair representation of the cost difference,' completely factual, I don't doubt at that point I'd have been harangued by her flying monkeys for months.

Despite it's reputation I actually find debate on here more well reasoned and thoughtful, one thing these people rely on is ratio-ing dissenters with dogpiles, Jack once did that to a disabled man for the crime of offering valid criticism.

I’m sure most of us don’t, but the reason most of us are posting it on tattle not on our personal twitters is presumably because while we would stand up and say it was us, we would prefer to not have to deal with the hassle.

Good point that many of the Tweeters also don’t use their real names @Jelly Bean

It's a fair point. I do sometimes actually reply to people on twitter though (which does have my real name on it).

Not people who's threads I post on here though, except maybe once or twice.
