There has been one I’ve got friends who’s children were part of it! (This is up north Labour area as well)

Not defending them though - they have the public and business opinion so wrong with this decision
 
Does anyone know the rules and regulations about shutting a business down temporarily due to staff covid absences. Looked on the government website but awaiting a phone call from HR 🤦‍♀😒

We cannot afford as a country to risk ten million people in one go being prisoners in their own home. What would really annoy me is having to self isolate because someone has been pinged when I cannot be pinged. As much as we protect ourselves from not getting pinged, we could still end up isolating because of someone else having the app.

My understanding is that there is a 'general' pilot study whereby people are randomly assigned to a group (isolate or daily LFTs), but for the 20 or so workplaces taking part (including Downing Street), all of the employees do the latter. I'm happy to be proven wrong though if somebody knows better.
 
I went to a soft play party yesterday (no details taken for test and trace)

Children roaming around a soft play with no social distancing for 90mins but Gov rules are you can’t blow candles out on a birthday cake 😂

Anyway the manager said if her back was turned she didn’t see it happen 😂

I've no idea but it seems very easy to do ,my next door neighbour was telling me yesterday the company she works for has had to close several businesses down because of pos cases but she's isolating anyway waiting on an op.

I’m a long time lurker! And only just come across the Covid thread. I’m after some advice if possible, my household have just completed 10 days of isolation (today is final day) due to me and my son testing positive, my daughter is stating to feel unwell.. I have just booked her in for a pcr test but I am just wondering does this mean we all have to complete 10 days again or just my daughter if she is positive? I can’t cope with anymore isolating.

I hope you’re feeling better.
I could point you in the direction of the NHS advice, but if you’re looking for the answer you want, I’d probably just mirror Boris’ actions. 🤷‍♀️

I am finding information on the internet so conflicting!
I am fine thank you. Just feel like I have the flu, I am unvaccinated so did worry how bad I would get it.
 
You can't really argue with that

My husbands workplace were all able to opt into LFT, there weren’t two groups.

Ordinarily I would ask what the fck we are believing Tony fckn Blair who should have fckd off to obscurity ten fckn years ago but these are not his words they will most likely be from pre publication notes leaked to him from one of that horde of buttsnorkeling acolytes desperately vying for his attention.

Unless the article says something different but as a matter of principle regarding anything that might even accidentally cast that cnt in a good light I refuse to believe their version unless there's sworn statements from unpaid confirmed independent witnesses.

You're right, but unfortunately some people are using it to get more time off work... I actually know people that do this... outrageous !! I've never had the app no intention
