If they’re not following all these ridiculous rules surrounding masks then why the fuck should anyone else?It has also been pointed out that the G7 beach BBQ was at a licensed venue therefore they should have been sitting down to eat and drink, they should also have been wearing masks when not sitting.
I must admit on one of my chocolate binges , I have cracked open a packet of crisps to take the edge offSomeone in the comments said her husband has been breaking his DairyMilk into his Tayto for years and shaking the packet
Me? Tublet nooo I am an optimist for life. I’m almost offended I actually thought it would until all this Indian variant bollocks happened and pissed on my parade. but also I didn’t book anything so I can’t have been that confident
Sadly no gloating for me
basically I have no bloody clue and nor does anyone else really because viruses are unpredictable so I think that’s the moral of the story here kids don’t hope for anything
I test twice weekly and have been double jabbed since March. I’m still not allowed any visitors in my home aside from my “bubble” (regardless of their status too), can’t stand up in a restaurant without a mask on and certainly not allowed to hug anyone. So yes it’s very frustrating when those measures are seen as sufficient for some people and not the general public. We need to be allowed to make our own judgements.Im assuming everyone at the G7 will have had tests prior to travelling, and will have also been fully vaccinated. Surely this isn’t rocket science?

Until this pandemic I had never heard the expression 'vaccine injury' (presumably it was US-originated?) and because of the word-association it just makes me think of clumsy jab incidents, and legal claims because it was an accident that wasn't my fault, wrong kind ofWe also have COVID arm.. it used to be called SIRVA. That is a well-known and quite common vaccine injury caused by the needle going in the wrong place. But let's call it COVID something and make it scary and new
Wish people would STFU about people wanting everything to open just to party. Some of us have people in nursing homes and haven't been able to hug them in 15mths!!! visits are behind a huge screen and if that person has dementia you cannot communicate with them like that you need contact and good eye contact.
I want to also do the same (been double jabbed, take two lateral flow tests a week). But I’m actually terrified I’ll be fined/police called.I gave up on masks on Saturday. I no longer see any need to comply when our leaders have no intention of doing so. I'm not wearing any ridiculous exemption card or otherwise as that also suggests compliance.
I went into about 7 shops and didn't get a single comment or a dirty look. The only person who talked to me on a door asked me to sanitise my hands on entry and I just answered with a cheery "No, thank you".
I note that quite a few are now happy to enable Boris in his quest to destroy the UK by repeating the "We're almost back to normal already" myth, often citing packed pubs and restaurants.
They neglect to realise that the packed pub or restaurant is almost certainly running at a loss due to the table service rubbish and they will be slowly be going out of business. Long term, that will mean either prices will have to start rising substantially or your favourite places will shut for good.
People need to stand up and fight these restrictions because they will not end if we don't.
Oh bugger off! Winter cold season will be fun thenView attachment 616800 q
This year‘s ‘is it covid or hayfever’ just levelled up significantly…
Are you fucking kidding me? I have a head cold right now with some of those symptoms. My daughter gets hay fever and also has those exact symptoms. No I’m not going to pull her out of school every week to test her nor will I test myself for a cold. Just a joke at this point. Let us get on with life. Why are we not this scared of flu and it’s many variants?View attachment 616800 q

Spare a thought for people who are at their wits end and their livelihoods wrecked. A lot of industries won’t recover from this.I’m not really sure what everyone is moaning about with this possible extension. The pathetic “I’m done” hashtag on Twitter is embarrassing. You can pretty much do most things now shopping eating out seeing friends and family??
