I'd say they'll be a lot of people suffering mentally after thisMy friend that's a paramedic said that she's been called out to hundreds of people that likely have it, they're in really bad ways but because they're not priority with underlying conditions etc she has to leave them at home.
She said it's mentally scarring and she can't switch off when she's home, just having nightmares all the time
Yes but at least it's a start , hopefully it'll be rolled out ASAP..they're to test hundreds this weekend alone ..
No I know you weren't Tally Ho..absolutely agree, wasn’t trying to be awkward. Let the testing begin
Do they mention the age group ? up here it's elderly ..3 more deaths in the ROI. Total of 22 deaths now.

The way its going it wont be long until I join you.I'm not bothering with the lemon, I'm drinking it neat out of the bottle
Spoke to my pal who is a nurse in a central London hospital today. She said contrary to what your might expect it's very much a 'calm before the storm' atmosphere. They aren't overwhelmed, which is great to hear, she even says it's quieter than usual because of routine appointments being cancelled. But at the same time there's the ominous sense of something on the horizon.
Reminds me of that terrible film pearl harbour. You see the nurses all bored our of their minds in the very white very quiet hospital and its pretty effective when you know what's coming.... Later in the film it's all chaos blood and death
My trusty local GP has said the same , he's in charge of the test centre at the hospital and he's said it's quieter than predicted.. that people doing what they're supposed to has had a big impact already...I hope for a different ending though..Spoke to my pal who is a nurse in a central London hospital today. Apparently a&e numbers are massively down too, perhaps a realisation for people that many things are not that serious and warrant an a&e visit.Spoke to my pal who is a nurse in a central London hospital today. seems to be the same up here ,even younger for confirmed cases as I think students in the uni in Belfast etc ...wonder are the fatalities all in a caring environment (home carers or residential ) would explain the spread and fatalities amongst that age group ?median age of confirmed cases is 46. I think median age of deaths was 79 but I couldn’t be sure.
View attachment 100476 qThis is what's happening where I live. People going up on the moors have barbecues. Never been so angry.
Excatly the same at the hospital in work in. Very empty wards, not much going on... Trying to enjoy this "break" as it's going to get crazy in the next week or so (expecting to)Spoke to my pal who is a nurse in a central London hospital today. I believe it’s three months for now but they’ve said it could be extended if necessary xDoes furlough only last three months? What do businesses do then - let staff go or do they have to pay them in full again? Thanks.
Think it can be extended so I wouldn’t worry too much yetDoes furlough only last three months? What do businesses do then - let staff go or do they have to pay them in full again? Thanks.
I was so angry with mrs hinch that Ive just messaged her cos im sick of her overdrive on flogging ebay stuff and told her delivery drivers should be utilised for food deliveries not her ebay crap shes flogging.I had a Next VIP sale slot last week. I usually order loads but didn’t bother for the first time ever. The logistics of having several parcels coming to my home and then any returns being collected from my door just seemed too risky. This was before lockdown. One less thing to worry about.
3 more weeks? Sadly, I think you’re being optimistic there.
