Looking at the dates, Chesney and Cilla arrive in November 2003. Leanne had been living away a couple of years at this point. She doesn’t return until June 2004. At this point she’s a bit rebellious and is a much more manipulative and selfish character so she didn’t really care about anybody but herself at this point. She does a lot of naughty and desperate things in this era

I mentioned Craig having his mouth gaping open and noticed in Wednesday’s episode Gemma doing the same thing. It makes them look gormless

He met Gemma at a party and started dating her but it turned out it had been a bet with his rich nobby friends about dating a chav ... anyway he developed feeling for her and there was talk of them getting the pub but he got in load of trouble with some undesirables and the last we saw of him was being carted off to get a good beating.

He was essentially a spoilt, rich brat but didn't have access to the Newton money then and that's what got him into trouble.

And wasn’t it Chesney who let it happen by telling the undesirables where they could find Henry? Something like that but I do remember Chesney knew what was going to happen to Henry and Chesney didn’t feel any guilt about it

If he is that into her he would have been stalking her socials all this time, and Gemma seems the type to post thousands of kid pics. No way he wouldn't have known.
