I recently started watching Coro again after a 20+ year break from it ... I stopped watching around the time Sarah was pregnant with Bethany.

It's been interesting tuning in again ... one of the most surprising things is, the Rovers seems near-empty a lot of the time - in the old days it was bustling and there was a lot of background chatter. I've also noticed that the houses look cramped ... maybe the camera angles are different or something? Roy's café used to be quite large, too. I know the set was recreated, which might explain a lot of the differences.

I did the set tour a couple of weeks ago. The only proper interior sets are the police station, Kev's garage and the kebab shop.

All the interior shots of houses, Rovers, Underworld, Cabin etc etc are filmed separately in studios.
 
I hate the Bernie/Paul/Gemma/Chesney family, just doom and gloom with the lot of them!

I know Paul’s situation is justified and quite horrible (a family friend is going through this at the moment and is now locked in her body and can no longer talk, it’s awful) but his acting isn’t great and I’m actually finding him annoying.

But all the storylines with them revolve around money and how skint they are, when in reality Gemma and Ches would be getting quite a fair bit from the gov!

I almost gave up when they announced Gemma was pregnant whey quads🤦. Had they not thought that one through. Four small children, crazy story line which now serves no purpose. They could be struggling with twins. Then I was thinking Hope would become the real devil child and kill them all off.🤷 Corrie is struggling to find its feet, crazy unhinged story lines that go no where, Ena and a Minnie would be mortified

I always thought Jenny and Daisy were joint owners.
I thought when Daisy was doing that MLM scheme Double Glammy, that she used some money from that and then got a loan for the rest of the deposit for her share?
Does anyone else remember this?

Did Owen have a personality transplant? He was lovely when he joined, then was really patronising and unsupportive to Jenny over the pub.
And what a boy Sean and what's her name that works in the rovers being really bitchy to jenny cause she had to cut their hours. Surely they noticed that punters and takings wre down.

Thought he might be Stephens next victim but looks like a lucky escape. I'm assuming the personality transplant was just to get Jenny together with Stephen
