Somebody on the smurf house insta page wrote the planning officers "were bastards" ah yes aren't they cruel to get her to remove that enormous galvanised tube that had zero planning permission from a residential home. People are deluded! I'm sure they feel a bit differently if their immediate neighbour did something similar

Errr so lets get this right… she expects people to pay thousands to stay at her unfinished holiday home?? So not only is there no parking, no seating and now no slide () but it also has no curb appeal. Whatever will the pretentious huns be able to snap for their instas?

It was blue when she bought it. It was a very sweet classic cottage that needed a little modernisation and refresh but she utterly and totally ruined it.

It was a lovely place when sold. It needed some modernisation, but it was light and bright and lots of space. There was absolutely no need for her to spend so much money at all.

It was blue but the refurb removed the blue. It just looks unfinished now. I do remember the debate about not being able to get the right colour blue or something.

That's exactly my thought. Has she got out a blue felt tip pen for the picture on Instagram? Imagine booking a house called the smurf house and turning up expecting it to be blue and its not!

Ah just realised the blue house pic she uses on the Instagram page is the original house picture as it was when she bought it.

Obvs fuming that no one has bitten for the last two plus years and they are having to do it themselves. I wouldn’t have done that without wearing an FFP3 mask. God knows what has been breathed in. They need to get some wood bleach down to get rid of those dark marks rather than keep sanding

Wonder how long before somebody asks why it’s taken her so blooming long to do some basic improvements.

There's been nothing stopping them except greed and entitlement, and no amount of passive aggressive eulogising about her own exceptionalism will work - people are not stupid. Even the sycophants are getting cynical now.

To feel better, Katie will need some gifted textiles from those poor unsuspecting brands she started grovelling to at decorex. We see you.

That room is going to be very echoey and cold. There’s loads of work still so do sealing gaps etc. I assume they will get a rug or rugs which will be expensive so they would have been better just to get a cheapish carpet which would have been warmer and about the same cost. I’m really pleased for the children though that they will get an area of the house that is clean and they could bring friends to. I hope their rooms will be done and a cheapish new bathroom put in so there’s at least one clean bathroom with a decent shower - albeit water pressure will no doubt be an issue due to the old plumbing

I'd actually rather follow her account if she actually did the work herself rather than paying or being gifted everything done for her. I follow other accounts where they actually do the work themselves, are honest with how much time and money it cost them too. Surely you would also get a sense of pride in your work too.

Agree - the problem is that Katie wants high end expensive work - underfloor heating with solid wood flooring on top. She can’t do that. The whole house needs replumbed and rewired. Cant do that. So she is sulkily doing small bits and pieces whilst making pass agg digs at brands who haven’t coughed up in between gushing at others. It’s not a good look and must be terribly wearing for Drippy who is working all week and no doubt doing the heavy lifting for the DIY too.

Her continual bedding is cringe worthy and it’s only going to worse. The further she gets into the returb without solid £££ behind it makes for a very begging Katie. I hope all the brands see her so what she is….. money grabbing cesspit who would take a free teabag if it saves her some cash. She’s despicable - it’s the kids I feel sorry for. Drippy should grow a set and tell her to get back to proper work…. But Princess Katie doesn’t do graft- only free tit. Can’t see her relentless trips to London forking out for free kitchens, carpets and bathrooms!
