Just a heads up.

Weekdays at 6:00am & 6:25am ITV3 usually repeat the previous weekday afternoon’s Classic Corrie (CC) episodes.

Of course they are not showing CC in the afternoon over Easter (Good Friday & Easter Monday) so naturally you would assume that there will be no ‘repeats’ on Monday & Tuesday morning.

However they are still showing 4 ‘new’ episodes on Monday & Tuesday morning, the same episodes that would have been shown in those previous afternoon slots. Don’t be surprised if you usually watch in the afternoons and tune in on Tuesday afternoon thinking they have skipped 4 episodes

The same is also happening with Classic Emmerdale
Thanks. I am recording the Monday and Tuesday morning episodes....

Who knew! DVR set, thanks for that Cupid, from a fellow Kenny Everett fan

yes exactly the same, Percy used to annoy me, but watching now i'm older i can see the fact he was meant to be the character who would annoy people, now made me laugh a lot, he always would have a line before he left the pub that would leave the person banging their heads against a brick wall :D

The main one though was Bet , when i was younger i just did not like her at all, watching it back i'm so glad to see the pure class behind Julie Goodyears portrayal of her, just the heartbeat of the Rovers, the way she would tell Jack off , but then go into a serious scene with someone in the bar was a treat , Alec being back is excellent, but nothing will ever match those two behind the bar, it didnt bother me when she left the first time , i was absolutely gutted in CC time

PMSL :D its his hair and cheeky smile , he always liked it slicked back and neat the fact it was a bit floppy summed up everything, he is pissed and he doesnt care and he is having a dance :D

Audrey looked annoyed at him, yet she was trying to get him to dance, poor Alf could never win
I think Phyllis Pearce chasing Percy was one of the best, underrated storylines in Corrie!

I’m loving watching the Deirdre storyline, I think I did watch it first time round but I’m enjoying it lots this time.

And Emily Bishop up a tree is not something you see every day!

I love Classic Corrie but haven't watched Modern Corrie in years.
I remember watching these episodes the first time around, I was actually living in Manchester at that time, I still love the accent, and it's so nostalgic thinking about where I was living and working as I watch these episodes 😃
Things I love about these particular Classic Corrie episodes:
The way Les just STARTS SHOUTING in the middle of a sentence! 😄
Des Barnes' sofa that looks like a park bench and which is the most uncomfortable looking sofa in the world, and he had it for years 😅 I remember Steph trying to drape/contort herself over it 😃
Deirdre and that whole fraud storyline, I think the actor who played Jon did a great job.
Spider, and how he livened up Emily.
Hayley.

I've been watching it since it started on ITV3, and my all time favourite characters are Hilda, Bet and Alec ❤

It upsets me how uncomfortable that sofa must be 😂
