This baby is Morgan - the copper's son. Emma is Steve's. Think this 2nd baby happened off screen.

I think it went to 3 nights/eps a week roughly about the time we are seeing now. (Late 90s)
Really enjoying it at the moment, more so than the present day episodes.

I believe by 1998 it was on 4 nights a week, as they had introduced a Sunday night episode in addition to the usual Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
 
I recommend watching a bit of OG corrie. I watched the first 12 or so episodes a couple of years back and thought they were excellent, with all the characters carefully considered about how they bounced off each other and how a street like that in manchester might be like at the time.

I feel likethe problem with many modern soaps is that they've become so focused on scandalous storylines about serial killers and constant affairs that they don't represent enough of what people are actually going through in 2010/2020s Britain. Where are the families having to use food banks and going into debt waiting for their UC? The house(s) taken over by a slum landlord and turned into HMO's, posher people coming back into the area and pricing WC people out, hipsterfication of the area. Where are the eastern european people or people who have been settled there having escaped from Syria? Those are the stories that Corrie could actually tell but why tell that when you could show Gail marrying yet another serial killer or something.

Weekdays at 6:00am & 6:25am ITV3 usually repeat the previous weekday afternoon’s Classic Corrie (CC) episodes.

Of course they are not showing CC in the afternoon over Easter (Good Friday & Easter Monday) so naturally you would assume that there will be no ‘repeats’ on Monday & Tuesday morning.

However they are still showing 4 ‘new’ episodes on Monday & Tuesday morning, the same episodes that would have been shown in those previous afternoon slots. Don’t be surprised if you usually watch in the afternoons and tune in on Tuesday afternoon thinking they have skipped 4 episodes

The same is also happening with Classic Emmerdale

I couldn't understand why they were taking about a dinner party at Mike's and Almas with Roy and Hayley, I thought I missed an episode but checked and I hadn't. This all makes sense, thank u!

i'm way behind everyone , ive just got to Kenneth becoming Alecs new Cassanova for his escort agency :D , i think Alec must have advertised Kenneth as someone to bore the socks of you , only the dull apply :D
