I know I seem to post this every day at the moment, but were there two episodes on today? Can only find one on the hub 😒

Although it isn't quite good riddance to Greg, he returns for a few episodes later in 1999.

Mind you, it was scary when he gently pushed his way into Rita’s flat like a poor man’s Jack Nicholas 😂

So I googled the actor to see what he’s up to now (not much) but I cannot believe he was voted the 1999 Soap Villain of the Year award at the British Soap Awards!!!

Clearly wasn't much of a choice of soap villains to vote for, back in 1999. :ROFLMAO:

An absolutely terrible 'villain' - probably one of the worst in Corrie's history. No wonder David Hanson got shot of him, not long after taking over from Brian Park.

This is from the Alf Roberts Wiki page but it doesn’t give a link to the article they’re quoting. He wasn’t wrong when he said he looked like he’d been dug up and I doubt the Producers had a choice. Bryan maybe didn’t realise how ill he was

It was pretty much the case that Bryan Mosley wanted to carry on, however those in charge decided otherwise and made the decision for him.

He clearly wasn't happy with the decision.

It could also possibly be the case that his enforced axing from Corrie may have hastened his death, that occurred a few weeks later.
