Did they meet on Corrie? Was looking at something else and noticed that the actors who play Genna the barmaid (Jennifer James) and Jez Quigley (Lee Bordman) are still married in real life. Nearly as long as Mark Eden (Alan Bradley) and Sue Nichols (Audrey Roberts).
Yes they did. You will find some information about this, on the Corrie Fandom site under Jennifer James, the actress who played Geena.Did they meet on Corrie?
Some people have short memories….Jez Quigley imo is the most menacing baddie the show has ever had. I find him incredibly frightening, it’s his ‘smile’.
Not that long after his Corrie exit he turned up in Drop Dead Gorgeous playing a gay model agency boss (or similar) who walked about carrying a miniature dog. Getting as far away from JQ as possible.Jez Quigley imo is the most menacing baddie the show has ever had. I find him incredibly frightening, it’s his ‘smile’.
Every time I see this, all I can think of is Frank Spencer, ooh BettySome people have short memories….

Martin is the least sexual person I’ve seen on TV. He made “I can’t bear not touching you” sound as sexy as “there’s an ingrown toenail in cubicle 3”

I’ve been obsessed with him since I was 6 years old and now I can see why… bless him!How adorable was David? I never noticed the first time around, but he was a proper little cheeky chap when he was little.
I said so earlier in the thread, the first day he appeared. Didn't carry on a proper little cheeky chap as he grew up did he ?How adorable was David? I never noticed the first time around, but he was a proper little cheeky chap when he was little.
He's a great character but a close second to Steve Macdonald for me .I said so earlier in the thread, the first day he appeared. Didn't carry on a proper little cheeky chap as he grew up did he ?
I must say he has been my favourite character in Corrie for ever.
I think she just worked at streetcars for a bit and then moved into Jim's house, renting it off SteveIs Eileen going to be a regular now?
I'm with you on that! He's a great character but a close second to Steve Macdonald for me
Same as Sally - she has been awful these last few episodes. When did Eileen turn into the sourfaced misery we know today?
I like her blunt humour in these old episodes!
