I don't think anyone can say that. Her star was fading and unlike him she never made much money. So she very likely needed status and money.

I would imagine they only get a very small percentage of Girls Aloud royalties as they were a manufactured band. And Cheryl's own music can't generate much royalties either as it was very much disposable pop of its time.

Yes I would say Liams money is what has allowed her to disappear from the public eye. She would be doing ads or T.V shows otherwise. Wasn’t she doing some dance reality show before she had bear? I think he also allowed her to stay in his house after they split.

I agree, she'd still be trying to make money well past her prime if she didn't have his. It's allowed her to withdraw rather than keep chasing fake with ever diminishing returns.

I feel for Bear in the future. At the moment he is at an age where he can be protected, but soon he will be at an age where cruel kids at school could break him down over this. Poor kid.

I always respected them for keeping him private, but other kids will know who he is. I’m not a fan of home schooling but this may be the only way to protect him.

Yep. We know nothing about her for a start. She was always private which imo never works when you become famous. Imo she comes across as cold and definitely not a sweetheart.

I don’t think this is true, she’s had one of her weddings published in OK mag and a tell all autobiography to name a few. It’s only in recent years she’s become more private

Yeah like Gary Barlow she was trying to get out of paying tax and they ruled that she owed them a fortune in fines and backdated tax.

Agree, she was a ‘traditional celebrity’ when married to Ashley Cole and an X factor judge. She dropped off the radar after having the baby but she’d already peaked by then imo anyway. Her son is clearly her everything and she even made some comment that she’s not looking for another boyfriend/husband because she’s got the man of her dreams. I may get come back over this but it sounds ever so slightly unhealthy to me and she may have to face the fact at some point she’ll be alone again when he’s off doing his own thing.

I’m sure she would have made good money from X factor and her endorsement deals like Loreal but not off her music. It always says she is worth 30 million if you look it up but I don’t believe that. It used to always say Katie Price was worth 60 million back in the day!
