Celebrity MasterChef

Faye was playing a complete game too. Lots of 'oh no I've really messed up' 'oh I forgot to turn my oven on' before producing something near perfect  (Did she actually cook anything savoury? I've forgotten).
Danny was similar with his pretending to be a complete novice.
Sorry Paul went as he seemed to be the only one not doing that nonsense.

Do you remember the double decker bus parade for the Platinum Jubilee. One of the bus themes was the 50s. So it had people live Cliff Richard, Anita Harris etc on it. I can’t remember who said it, it was on the radio (🤣might have been Paul Gammberchini, whoever it was they weren’t impressed), said that Chris Eubank turned up and gatecrashed the bus. He didn’t just gatecrash he put himself in the very centre of the bus he had no business being on.

I’ve been put off Masterchef by the revelation in this thread they have help from mentors.
I didn’t have a clue 🥹
Is it the same for normal Masterchef?
No, I don’t believe so. They use home economists on the amateur and professional versions to help test the challenges but they don’t have help with coming up with a recipe or how to cook it. Here are a couple of interesting articles:

Still mad that Paul's gone. It should've been him and Danny, not Faye
No way should he have been booted out, he was very good far better than Fay.

I agree he was the only genuine person on the whole thing.

Started watching this week’s episode during my lunch break, I was only 10 mins in when I decided Queen MoJo may be aiming to give Joe ‘Just for men’ Swash a run for his money in the irritating **** stakes. I’m hoping she doesn’t last too long 🙏

Slightly bias because I like Danny but he knows what he's doing and I don't think he'd need much help from mentors. Has anyone seen his Instagram stories from before MasterChef? His meals always look so good

NO! Somebody I know auditioned for the bake off. Same thing different gravy!! And they pick those people who fit their production requirements. They pick so many who are rubbish some middle ones and some quite good then decide the best fit of personalities. It’s not always about how good a cook you are
