I have been saying all along that this show is edited to within an inch of its life, and context is missing, and contributions from others cut. It applies to every contestant, not just Ekin. Maybe people's eyes are starting to open now that it is happening to Saint Fern and beloved Nikita.

The producers have had a script with an agenda from day one.. I believe they want to ensure that Louis wins. They will have paid him an enormous fee and want their moneys worth out of advertising revenue. He brings the drama they need for that. First Zeze, then Ekin, he stuck to her like glue following her round the house to provoke a response from her the day before she was booted out. Now it's Nikita and Bradley's turn.

As for Fern, she absolutely is a nasty, spiteful old bag, with her fake girly simpering voice. I am hardly a spring chicken myself, but I can see right through her.

It's a shame Ekin didn't go on Lorraine, but she probably feels that she won't get a fair interview on ITV. She should wait until she can go and be interviewed on a rival chanel, assuming her contract goes not prevent that indefinitely.

I doubt he's ever met Artem, so I wouldn't have thought that was it, but after reading the Sun article that was linked here in the last thread, I could see how it might be.

She accused him of being abusive - kicking and shoving her, yelling at her, insulting her weight etc - and he (well, his management) unequivocally denied it.

Before I read that article I assumed that he had agreed that they clashed because his teaching style was too strict for her, but to find out that he claimed he did nothing like that and she made it all up and he was totally shocked by the accusations.... well, maybe that could be a reason Nikita doesn't like her or doesn't trust her.

FWIW I think I believe her account more than Artem's carefully worded PR statement, but I could maybe see Nikita taking Strictly's side of it even though it was long before his time.

I'm still not that strongly convinced he does dislike Fern though. He's got to nominate someone and the housemate you're the least close to is a no-brainer.

Why is Fern untouchable? He has a right to not be keen. Louis is not keen on her either it seems.

Regardless of who the HM is, it would also be extremely uncomfortable to witness someone being humiliated during noms.

I would feel the same way if I lived with Fern.

I just read an article about the eviction twist fern will be chosen to do what she thinks is pick someone to be up for eviction but actually that person will be safe and in the final.

I can't help but wonder if the producers had it planned but didn't bank on nikita volunteering and with all that happened would have been almost certain for her to pick.

With his fanbase I think he's got a big chance of making the final either way

Ok so the whole wagwan gate... Pissed me off that it felt like there was a whole lotta editing going on there because it was said by N in the podcast but then it cut to break then immediately showed him really stressing about it like something more had been said to him but they'd edited it out so we didn't get so see what or by whom??!!
ITV BIG BROTHER THIS IS NOT ON!!!! STOP DOING THIS FOR FUCKS SAKE. You either want to make a reality show based off of how people interact or you don't, and if you don't then GO THE duck OUT YOU LIER ACTRESSESSSSS!!!!!!

Also agree with others and as a poc myself/mixed heritage I don't at all see what offence could be taken in the context of what was said etc.... also even if his friends didn't say it, it's literally in a fecking song for FFS! So he could have been introduced to it that way.

The world is just getting more fucked up by the minute by everyone literally taking offence at everything and tripping over themselves to not say or do anything that might remotely be taken the wrong way, it's like walking on egg shells and as a survivor of abuse, this is just not a pleasant way to live.

Totally agree and a grandmother close to Fern’s age. Nikita is still beloved for me though! He’s just stood by his principles.

I worked in social care/ mental health and worry about the effects on contestants with this vilification. And no I am not just talking about ES specifically. Usually people who are vain and delusional are also quite vulnerable. Personality disorders. ITV seem to learn nothing.

Fern IS spiteful. Just read how she treats/talks to ex husbands/wives she’s cheated on/girlfriend she took Phil Vickery from etc.

I think the producers wanted Louis to be safe. This way he is and the HM will have to nominate someone other than him - meaning possibly more up for eviction and some new names.

I think Fern is an easier person to nominate as she does tend to isolate herself a bit (I don’t blame her I would be wanting some peace too). Often on the live feed they are all sat together (even Louis now he’s lost his allies) and there is no sign of Fern. She has presumably gone to bed. I guess it’s easier to nominate someone you haven’t spent as much time with

Yeah I don't think it's because she's secretly evil or that, it's just she's not in the clique so is an easy target. I just wish people would be honest about it.

Funnily enough I think CBB is really reflecting the society we live in now. Where we somehow have to make ourselves the victim to avoid unjustified critique and cancelling. I didn't like how Nikita behaved afterwards but he's a product of the fucked up society we live in where a persons intention gets absolutely ignored. How pathetic is it that he was afraid of losing his job with Strictly over that one interaction???

If she was ever going to get a ‘decent’ interview it would have been with the simpering Lorraine Kelly but she’s pulled out. Levi has rocked up of This Morning but I didn’t hang around to watch. Otherwise did anyone see an item at the weekend in terms of Davide and Chloe Burroughs occupied the same space for about 10 seconds and apparently are ‘an item” .. Well who knows or cares, wonder if ES saw it

While we can complain about editing, the bottom line is that Louis has (on screen) provided most of the laughs/drama, he’s kept the series going and deserves to win imo from an entertainment point of view.

From a career point of view I think a younger person would make more use of being crowned, only David has really worked at providing entertaining TV, the rest are just wallpaper.

I’ve said since the start that Fern is not a nice individual, while they might have sacked her she still is part of that rotten This Morning family, no one good ever came out of that show
