My belated thoughts about last night:
The best bit was Louis and Zeze, they were unintentionally very funny together. I disagree that she came off badly; at the beginning she was much more into the panto evil queen role than Louis was and was putting way more effort into it. For some reason, despite knowing they had to spend all day together, Louis decided to direct his "evilness" onto Zeze with some unprompted and somewhat personal insults. I can understand that she eventually became fed up after putting up with him for hours and hours.
I agree about the dragged out tasks taking out way too much of the show, spoiling watching the natural interactions and dynamics. I did like this task though.
Nikita was definitely playing the hero with his big speech nominating himself. I fully agreed with Louis' assessment of him at the end, and I'm glad someone said it. The producers obviously thought it was important to leave the viewer on that note. Also I thought that Nikita was needlessly cold to Fern over the fact he constantly nominates her. I don't think he's the absolute angel he likes to portray. I'm not saying he's a bad person but he definitely looks out for number 1, and his animosity towards Fern is thus far unexplained. I did like his "I heard you, witches!" moment with the boys.
Marisha went down in my estimation. It's not that she wants to play the game to win, which I don't have a problem with, it was her scared silence followed by the pathetic wimpy relieved crying when everyone else had offered to sacrifice themselves. If she'd been upfront about wanting to avoid it and grateful Nikita and the others had done it, it I would have respected her more, like I respected her openness about her reason for nominating Ekin-Su.
Bradley is also pathetic for not nominating himself, but he seems more vulnerable and immature than Marisha.
Louis remains the star of the show. He was also really funny with his pretend moaning when Fern was massaging him on the L&L clip.
David and Colson remain likeable. I don't see David's loudness as showing off, I think he's like that 24/7. Bradley remains boring.
I still like Fern and think she's an interesting housemate, without having to be loud, controversial, or have any kind of stand-out behaviours. She would be good to watch if we had a more traditional BB where we can just watch them interact. I am surprised that she didn't seem to pick up on the "twist" regarding the killer eviction snake. Big Brother always does things like that. Why don't housemates know that they can be directly tricked, too?
AJ Odudu is not very good as an interviewer: when she asks people their opinions, she just disagrees with them! It's not about your opinions, love!
