Her post about the tour says something like… thanks for letting us show you a picture of our Carrie, we hope that someday she will be able to meet you.
Seems like a possibility she’s a name sake.

Absolutely this - the recently reposted professional photos of Carrie in the gold sequin / blush coloured dresses are not from that long ago and I think she looks lovely. I don't actually think she's unattractive but her hair in an up-do, well applied makeup and styles/shapes/colours that suit her shape and complexion make the WORLD of difference. I think in her desperation the find her own unique sense of style she has lost sight of what actually suits her. You can ABSOLUTELY make bold choices with colour, styles etc but it needs to be coherent and tied together. I'm saying this as a 30yo who had two children in 3 years, and completely lost all sense of style/what suits me so can sort of see the same in Carrie.

She's used fat quarters to make the whole thing 🙈 she cited Leena Norms who has been using the book Sew it Yourself by DIY Daisy. It (quite cleverly, I think) allows you to create clothes purely by using multiples of squares rather than complex measurements - Leena has produced some quite nice things from it for a beginner. However...... Just because fat quarters are square, doesn't mean you're meant to use those, I'd always thought fat quarters were for more general (small) craft projects rather than making an entire garment out of patchwork fabric 😅😅😅

fat quarters were just the right size to make a three layered face mask back in the dark days of covid restrictions!

to be fair the sister and brother in law have called their kids Otis and Bernardine (not after Evaristo but Bernie Sanders LMAO ) so I guess I am not one to talk here..but in my defence the girl is almost 2 yrs old now and I haven't stopped laughing about it

Started a new book this evening and died when on the 2nd paragraph of the first chapter the author basically described our Carrie 🤣 (it’s Death of a Bookseller by Alice Slater)
