BREAKING NEWS!
She’s just admitted to finding her Swampy husband attractive! This is a first is it not? He’s probably wet himself out of excitement.

ffs I didn’t even mean for that to sound the way it does 🤦🏻‍♀️🤢

It annoys me more than it should that she doesn't know the bleeping phrase is "be still my heart"

And yeah, he looks like he's about to pull a dead rabbit out of that hat somewhere on a desolate pier.

She's currently doing a Q&A

Kind of over-explaining (as she does) about why they eloped!

duck off petal, you could have EASILY had a very small wedding in front of your two sets of parents and nobody else. As it is you have denied them that moment. They may not be saying it out loud but I guarantee that your parents or Tom will be so disappointed that they weren't allowed to share the moment. If they are not then you literally have no family of any worth. A party/celebration a few days/weeks/months afterwards does not make up for it.

You've done the elopement thing either because you think it makes you qUirKY like you think your epic fail dress sense does, or because one of your parents disapproved and would have kicked off. Stop lying to yourself and your family and the world and just be true.

(although, I do still have it in the very back of my head, that the entire thing is one insane publicity stunt, I just can't think of a single reason why you'd be doing something that stupid).

exactly what I thought when I saw that "looks like a magician" comment 🤣

Joel doesn't exactly have lots of roles open to him, he is more a 'character' actor.

Look at his roles, his area is sad/loser/outcast/creep type roles.
to be fair most actors do get type cast often no fault of their own. My partners career history is hilarious. He either gets cops, detectives or good guy nerds or serial killers, kidnappers and drug dealers/addicts. :ROFLMAO:

Very true but with Joel he actually has the personality traits of those characters so is playing a form of himself.

Realised Joel gives me sloth from the goonies vibes.

At your own wedding people would expect you to get emotional, no? They wouldn't judge you for getting overwhelmed or start crying, especially your own family and friends
It doesn't have to be a "performance" 🙄 but she's so performative anyway so I guess I shouldn't be surprised
Yeah this is why it makes no sense. I’ve seen loads of people cry at weddings - literally no one is phased by it.

It would be weird NOT to cry at your wedding tbh (as long as it's happy tears ofc). My mate's husband cried when he saw her walking down the aisle. My mate cried when reading her vows/doing a speech. The bridesmaids cried because it was just a beautiful ceremony.

It makes it more personal and makes the whole event just a bit sweeter

you might be comforted to know my partner hopefully does not 🤣

it would show she had a heart because you broke it

Oh come on, Carrie. The fact that she ran away with Shrek and only told her parents and Tom the night before or even just a few hours before the wedding speaks volumes. She just didn't want anyone to talk her out of it and tell her what a stupid idea this impulsive decision was.
If they break up, she'll just tell another story like "I was taken advantage of and talked into getting married in a moment when I was very vulnerable. He should have known that I wasn't emotionally capable of making such a decision." That's 100% how it's going to go down because let's be honest: it's not going to last long.

100%. They only eloped so no one could object during the ceremony (which I doubt they'd do anyway). Just shows how paranoid about the situation she really is
