Babe.. are you serious? You've been permanently in a relationship for the past 10 years. You're marrying your rebound that you've been with less than a year. "How could I have forgotten I'm the love of my own life..." I'm absolutely cackling

I recommend The No Show by Beth O'Leary as well (I wasn't as much of a fan of The Road trip but I do enjoy Beth's other books. Sorry for the slight off topic post.

It's a lovely thought 😻, for those that actually live by that philosophy and not just preach on social media while doing the opposite in real life.

It's like when parents are reminded to lead by example (meaning their behaviour) and not just their words. Imagine Carrie telling her daughter one day to be a strong independent woman and love herself first, while showing how in reality she needs a man for her own validation. 😹😹😹

Has she dubbed Joel’s voice in that video she’s posted of him being surprised by the friends? There’s clearly a dubbed ‘oh God’ at the start over him making a whining sort of ‘oh no’ sound I think?

I think the oh god is Scott standing close to Carrie behind the camera.

But honestly either way it doesn't come across as "oh yay my future wife knows me so well I'm excited to see what she has planned" and more screams "oh no this woman doesn't know me, what is about to happen"

Usually the one saying they don’t like hanging out with other ppl bc of drama, means they are the drama.

I need to find the video where she says she didn’t want to hang out with certain girls at school bc they wanted to go shoe shopping while she just wanted to read.

I took it as her break up “anniversary” post. She’s the love of her life … and she’s settling just to get married. Because we’ve all mentioned she doesn’t say she loves her future husband … just the ring, being engaged, Disney, etc
