She didn’t think of doing a giveaway for the free stuff other people have paid for?? Even if she kept the t-shirt and pullover to actually run in and gave away the hat, tote bag and whatever else there is. I shouldn’t but I still find myself shocked by her sometimes.

I am sorry but WTAF. She's showing off this free gear she has obtained from charity donations from her fans and then in her next story is telling people to go donate so she can keep her charity spot!!! Again why would you choose to present yourself in this way?!? It comes across as using your fans and that you don't actually give a tit about the charities. And being so unaware of the struggles that average households are currently facing! Like ok you got free stuff but why would you post a story about that unless you were going to donate them or make a post about raising awareness for the charities?!? I think again she thinks she comes across as humble or something: "Like omg you guys I was just doing the runs for charity but look I've raised so much that they gave me all this free stuff. How amazing is that because I didn't even know I would get all this. I was simply doing it out of the goodness of my heart."

She might end up topping up the donations herself anyway like the Fletchers did when Gi was doing that Coppafeel trek in the Sahara last year.
She didn't meet the threshold for donations that according to the website, everyone (little people like us, not all the z list celebs going) has to meet before doing the trek. Suddenly there was a mysterious anonymous donation of £1000 that came out of nowhere.
It's known as donation fatigue. You do one marathon and your friends and family and colleagues and associates are happy to donate a fiver.
You do a marathon every year or in Gi's case, two sponsored walks in a year, and donations dip drastically. 1) people get sick of giving you money to walk/run 2) we're now in a cost of living crisis and people can't justify giving so much money away when they're hard up themselves.

I saw it more as giving back to the people who donated. I don’t think she or they knew about the stuff you got, or maybe she did and she’s just acting surprised. Even better actually if she opened it up as a giveaway to the people who had donated rather than her keeping all the stuff they’ve paid for

My take on their whole relationship is that he was obviously a rebound and the attention made her feel better, but then she wasn’t expecting he would propose so soon and now she is trapped and is convincing herself like that quote: ‘ love isn’t butterflies, love is calm and safe’ or something like that and shes desperately trying to convince herself of this, and unfortunately will end up staying married for many years trying to convince herself this. true love might be calm Carrie but it also doesn’t give you the ick it so clearly gives you. She could hardly say no to his proposal as well as he put on a bloody show in a theatre by the looks of things.
