At the beginning she talks about getting the morning and afternoon shows "out the way", and if there is an evening show it's like "they never happened"
Such a strange attitude to have.

Also it sounded like she was moaning about having to be in the building at 8:55 for vocal warm up...when 9am start time is pretty standard for us non-theatre people

I haven't watched the whole vlog yet but she was very low energy in the beginning, there is no spark in her at the moment

Edit: finished watching now.
None of the other cast members were interacting with her at all during the Xmas light switch on in the other dressing rooms. She was making comments but no-one was acknowledging her. Kind of awkward 😬

It's just dawned on me what the ootd photo reminds me of........when you're a kid and you play dressing up, and then your mum wants to take your photo, so you proudly say cheese whilst your mum is plotting to put said photo on your 18th birthday cake!

Reading through the other comments on here, just wanted to add that this has been a tough year for me, long covid, depression and exhaustion, feeling like I'm wading through treacle and getting nowhere fast. I've always felt that I could be myself here, so thank you all and love to all of you. You are all valid and wanted xxx

She's stuck up and it shows, now no one wants to be her friend. Her castmates haven't been living under a rock - I'm sure they know about all her arsey moments on social media, like saying she wouldn't sit next to someone who thinks performers should learn how to read music. I'm sure they know about #SnogGate too, and how she treats her understudies.

Don't think her castmates know about this but - in her Oliver fanfic book When The Curtain Falls (which I highly recommend everyone read for a look into her psyche), it's so clear she thinks she is above the people she works with. She wrote one scene where everyone was so impressed with her for owning a home. Can you imagine being a working class performer, no legs up, multiple jobs, a bit of debt from performing school, having to be near Tom from McFly's sister who thinks she is better than everyone because she owns property?

Oh gosh just watched the dressing room scene now and it is so awkward

Pointing the camera at one person when a different person's lights aren't working and saying "YOUR christmas lights better be better than THIS"

Like - I know she means well and wants to make a joke. But she just comes off aggressive and rude. She's not even being acknowledged when she says stuff like this, because I'm sure people just find her annoying.

Plus didn’t one of her fan fics look down on panto when her Oliver character insert got offered a panto by his agent and was fuming?

Yes exactly! And again I would be floored if any of her castmates had ever read her book. Just mean it speaks to the attitude she carries with her in this job. She thinks she's above it all, and I'm not surprised if it coms across to her castmates in how she acts. Like the comment in her YT video about getting the shows out of the way and it's like it never happened. She talks as if it's a traumatic event she is blocking out, not a job that she enjoys doing. I wonder if she struggles with loneliness being in Canterbury - I imagine her castmates don't like her and don't want to get drinks with her, and she doesn't have her No Neck Fiance to come home to.

I noticed that too. There was one point where they were all kind of dancing after the light switch on, and everyone basically started dancing with each other - and Carrie was kind of dancing in the corner, on her own (no pun intended). No one acknowledged her, she was not being included and it was obvious. A very small part of me felt, albeit very briefly, a bit sad for her, as I truly hate it when people get left out. However, it is her own doing, sadly. She has made her bed, and now she has to lie in it.

Much like Carrie, I’m in a profession where people will, and do, talk. One wrong word and everything could be over.

Carrie, trust me, people are talking and not positively.

This is gonna be the straw that breaks the camel's back of her musical theater career. She's gonna be like, I'm out here doing a job I didn't want to do, that I think is beneath me, and still no one there likes me or wants to be my friend. No matter how many stale cookies I give them.

Guarantee she's quitting musical theater after this. Next steps may include 1) Tom gets her a job in music industry; 2) Gi gets her more book deals / something in publishing; 3) becoming Shrek's house wife and monetizing that somehow; 4) leaning into sponsored content and lifestyle vlogging

Gonna be embarrassing if Carrie's 2022 recap involves moaning about #HeLeftMe after Oliver is happy and loved up in NYC and she is allegedly #PlungedIntoHappiness. Like, girl move on lol
Seriously though must be horrific to see your ex thriving whilst you're stuck doing panto with a creepy and possessive bloke who won't get renewed for their West end musical. Oliver seems so happy and is playing a leading role in a Disney musical in contrast, ouch!

I have no close friends, no money and no Job as I broke a bone in my back a few weeks ago. No money to buy any Christmas presents this year. No friends ever check in. I lived in London until October then had to move back home.
last week I had thoughts of overdosing but I didn’t want to be sick.
thanks for sharing

Not the same but I'm only ever an inbox away, I've been where you are and I care.

Carrie has demonstrated she has as much style as Catherine Tate's Nan
