I mean, there's no shame in having your first kiss or any kind of intimate experience at a later point in your life. But with everything in this day and age, think before you share your information with everyone on social media. As we've known about Joel since day 1 with Carrie, he has no clue whatsoever.

The thing is if his first kiss was in 2000 he would’ve been what, 13? It’s more so that he decided to add this information to his Facebook profile in 2014, when he would’ve been in his late 20s.

Oh yeah there’s nothing wrong with it but posting about your first kiss on Facebook 14 years after it happened is a bit random 🤷🏻‍♀️

Facebook is always trying to force its users to use their new features - when they introduced these life events, they put it in your face all the time, trying to force you to put it to use. They suggested ridiculous topics to add, like your first kiss, etc. Maybe he just assumed it was a feature people were actually using, not realising that most people ignored this feature

Like a boomer trying to use social media. All that's missing are minion memes and unironically playing farmville.

I think at the age of 27 he should've known it was weird to ad that, literally not seen anybody ever do that. 😆

So, Joel is performing in a am dram production of Shrek in October. Is this normal to- a. Cast yourself as lead in your own theatre company and b. Have a holiday/break from a west end show to star in a local theatre production??

Wasn't Natasha Barnes in WoE with Carrie?
I have no idea if this is normal or not but it sure creates some buzz for their production

There generally well attended and most sell out anyway, but it would definitely add to the appeal for some. It’s something I’d go to as I have friends who are either part of the local dance school or have children in it. I can imagine he’d make a good shrek too! How would he learn his lines/rehearse?? Possibly during the 2 hr break in hamilton 🤣🤣

Lin Manuel wrote Hamilton though, didn't he? As far as I know, Joel gets as much writing credit for Shrek as me ;D
Haha yes! I guess LMM has more of a reason to insert himself, but (in my own personal opinion ofc), he wasn't the best choice for the lead.

Are finances minimal? Can they not afford to bring in another actor? Or does Joel just want more leading roles to add to his Spotlight portfolio

I’m thinking it was sorted before he got the role in Hamilton. He thinks he’s a celebrity around here, and will like the admiration of being the lead 😜

Well in my own personal opinion he is hands down the best choice for Shrek, I mean look at him 🤣
