Interesting what there is on Companies House and similar sites, I wondered how they managed to buy a house in West London on a single salary, turns out they didn’t, it was a council house, and until at least July 2021, they were still living in it. It’s much easier to build an empire when you’re living in a council property that other families (who are much much more in need) could benefit from, isn’t it?

This actually makes me feel sick.

She used to live in a basement apartment in Fulham. That’s where the kids grew up and where she did all her early days vlogs etc. Pretty sure they own/owned it.

It absolutely beggars belief she thought she could go ahead and replace windows of a council property without going through the housing association / council. And it’s dereliction of duty to let it get so bad in the first place.

If it’s the pocket of housing I’m thinking of, behind Queens Club, these aren’t your standard London terraces, it’s impressive stock. The term maisonette / basement flat (I think she’s used both) plays it down, these properties are wide with high ceilings. Probably more square footage than a lot of people’s freeholds. And in zone 2. She’s been extremely lucky.

So are they in the process if buying the London flat, or have bought it? They shouldn't even be allowed to have rented it once she got rich
They’ve moved to another place according to the article that she was interviewed for a few months ago https://www.standard.co.uk/homesand...rons-west-kensington-area-guide-b1166966.html. It looks like she wanted to buy under RTB, couldn’t, so bought Ruth’s old house and rented another place in London instead. And I agree with you, they must have lived there much longer than the date on this letter, which was numerous kits into her business, so she was renting a council property whilst extremely wealthy. That’s not against the law, as far as I know, but it’s amoral in my opinion. And she was projecting an image of ‘I’m struggling just like you’, when her outgoings would’ve been far far less than if she was paying market rate rent. All pretty gross.

I always thought it must have been council as she seemed to be the only breadwinner. I am just surprised she waited until 2021 to buy it. Usually if you buy with discount you have to pay it back if you sell within 3 years. Maybe she still owns it and rents it out

You know what, I just can't bear the thought of the b*tch coining it in and paying peanuts in rent. I f*cking couldn't stand her before. Now I loathe and despise her beyond words. "Don't be a dick"??? What Hirons? Like someone with bags of money occupying a home that another family could have??? Makes my blood boil.

I need to understand the timeline of buying her council flat and then buying a £2 million (?) mansion. Did both happen within a year or so?

I don't think she has bought the council flat, there isn't anything on RightMove to show that the property has been purchased (and a number of the properties have been bought and no marketing photos or blurb shown on rightmove suggesting they were never marketed.

If she bought it then it wouldn't show on Rightmove because the council wouldn't have advertised it. Only the land registry would confirm ownership

I am guessing the RTB didn’t go through as there’s no data on houseprices.io. Anyone got £3 to spare for land registry? 😅

But I can’t quite work out timeline for the Somerset house either. So RTB didn’t happen and she just dropped £2 million on a mansion?

OR… RTB did go through and she bought the mansion immediately after. This is will deeply infuriate me if true.

A lot of this doesn’t make any sense. Why would she have paid for replacement windows herself on a council property? Is it possible it’s poor wording and she should have said EX council property. And whilst I hate the fact she may have been living in a council property whilst running a hugely successful business (pre Skin Rocks) she’s not alone in doing that. And she had to have a budget for fake lashes and camo clothing!
I reckon she bought it under RTB years ago and now Ava lives in it or she rents it out. Surely tenants can’t apply for planning permission to make alterations to a rented property? You must have to be the owner.

If you live in a council house for a number of yrs u are entitled to upto 70% off the sale price so obv she would have bought the house.

It wasn’t bought, hence the move to the new rental

It wasn’t bought, as far as I could find out anyway, hence the move to the new rental. Ava lives in her own flat, Daniel lives with his girlfriend and Ben lives in Somerset with his family (well, he did before they stopped posting private stuff, I actually do feel sorry for him, Caroline really did mess up privacy for his kids
