Caroline Hirons #37 The Devil Wears Camo

Has Greg been demoted? Only 'Sales and Training Manager', rather than Grand Global Head of Skin or whatever his title was. And why call him out specifically - are there really any followers who are specifically waiting for an opportunity to have mr monster munch rub his sausage fingers over their faces whilst they perch on a bar stool in the window?
That is a different job title to the one Oaf used previously. Something like Regional Skin Tag.

Nadine is the guest on the podcast this week. I’d like to think Nadine was forced to do it against her will as I really rate and like Nadine. This clip is hilarious of Hirons’ agreeing with her about SPF when Hirons is the woman who went abroad , forgot SPF and burnt to a crisp and these days has a tan the colour shade of Trump with the hair to match 😂

Nadine is honestly the only one of them left that isn't high on the smell of her own farts. My favourite bit was when Caroline asked her what she would buy in Space NK if she lost her job tomorrow. Nadine said she wouldn't shop in Space NK and Caroline reminded her SHE was stocked in Space NK. Nadine still wouldn't bite 😂

Why on earth would Nadine agree to go on the podcast. Next up Sali. Followed by Trinny? 🤣
Didn't there used to be a rule that good journalists didn't interview other journalists, ie they had to go and find someone actually connected to the story to interview? It needs to be reinstated with influencers/gurus. Their interviews are just the most pointless echo chamber of bullshit otherwise.

Yep Ruth does this kind of thing for sport. Buys a house, renovates the heck out of it and then moves again. I don’t know how many times she did up the house Hirons is in now and the one before. And then there’s other projects that she has bought to let and done up
to be fair though at least ruth admits this is what she does and is very open about it. she’s even said how much she regrets doing all that reno work on the house on stilts while juggling late pregnancy/newborn stage but that buying & flipping properties is just the kind of person she is. caroline won’t even admit to owning the georgian house, everything is so under the table hush hush with her you never know where you stand

These comments on the sponsored shark post are hilarious…. I thought you was brilliant in long legs 😂😂

Damn, those Gen Z-ers don't hold back with the ageism...!

Honestly though, it does seem rubbish. 'Noticeable results'. 'Skin rejuvenation'. It's so vague. Where is the actual science for LEDs? No one seems to come up with it. It's just influencers saying 'I noticed a huge difference, my skin looks so much better'. And people are rightly calling it out.

There is much to recommend LED treatment; however very few at home devices have the frequencies which give results and even then you have to be consistent. To have the mask for a week or so and say “it’s genuinely industry leading” is just a lie.

This beauty blogger has a very thorough blog explaining the science, and she's good about not saying 'you must buy one of these' or guaranteeing that everyone will see results etc. https://goalstogetglowing.com/2021/01/17/led-face-mask-research/

Anecdotally I think my LED mask improves the appearance of my skin when I use it regularly (specifically my skin seems brighter and more even with less discoloration, and it seems to help breakout scarring heal more quickly, and lowers the redness I tend to get on my cheeks).

What's Longlegs?
A horror film that came out this year (the main character is called Longlegs).

I've had the currentbody LED masks for a good couple of years and whilst I can't talk about collagen or lines as I don't have too many for my age, I do have rosacea and some permanently red skin. The redness temporarily goes straight after using the masks. I'm not as consistent with it as I used to be so need to get back into that, but they are the gadgets I'm glad I bought. A friend tried it one evening when she was over. She spent the rest of the evening looking in the mirror saying her marionette lines had gone. Can't say I'd ever noticed that she had any, so the difference would have been tiny, but she noticed something.
