I hate people like her who claim to be such hard workers they can't cope with the boredom of holidays. It's just clearly such bollocks, there's always something to do, even hotels do stuff. I've never been bored on holiday, even in Haven on the Isle of Wight at 17 with my nan!
Yes, not only does it underline what a hard worker she is but I feel like it carries an ugly, unspoken message that anyone who does enjoy their time off doesn't work as hard as her. Reminds me of a woman who used to sit near me at the office who disparaged anyone who wanted to take their birthday off - she died suddenly and tragically around 40 years old; I hope her final thoughts were not fond memories of being at her desk.

I've worked with a lot of people like this too. It always makes me think "just because you have nothing else interesting in your life doesn't mean nobody else does".
One woman I worked with was constantly "on" and available at all hours of the day (and expected everyone else to be, too). I found out a few years after I'd left that she had a heart attack in a work meeting and passed away, she wasn't even 50.

She's probably got massive FOMO about her office. It's where she feels important.
It's another thing that's straight out of the seventies, as if the internet and emails had never happened. If she was that bored, she could be working from her sun lounger, but it's not about the work, it's about sitting at her desk or in her room full of free product, being addressed as 'The Boss' and screeching at young women for fat coke and tea every two minutes, and then hawk-like watching what time everyone dares to go home and shouting byyyeeee in a tediously pas ag way.

Omg that actually is her working day 😂 Plus one of her unremarkable children dropping in so she can have performative bantz with them while everyone else is obliged to watch and crease up with mirth - 'if we're like this here imagine what it's like in our house! It's mad! We're like this all the time! We're a madhouse 🤪 Aren't we? Aren't we random child?'

There’s a load of her Skin Rocks products very cheap on eBay. All new. Don’t know where they’ve all come from?
No flannels though! I would have expected loads more of them than products.

I don't really understand why there are so many brand new products, some of them the more recent launches. Do people really buy them, not open them to even once test the smell or texture, leave them on the shelf for a few months and then sell them at a huge loss?

Of course. But it’s the fact she posts about it. We don’t have to know. It’s just another chance for her to show how great she is, how worthy, how we should praise her. All of us would feel likewise, I imagine. Just not all of us would post for worship.

it was the same as her posts during the London riots. Like, cool. Good decision. But your followers don’t need to know.
Yes, you’re right. I forgot to ask ‘what would a normal person post’.

Can't be arsed looking at eBay. If anyone has, what are the skin bollocks products going for?

Yet more emails for Advent Calendars. Will be hitting the Unsubscribe button on em all when back from work. Hard to believe that a few years ago I had 4 different calendars in one year - yielding about half a dozen full size products I enjoyed but were expensive to buy on repeat - and bags full of miniature products I literally never bothered opening/products that weren't suitable for me.

Absolute madness. I could have afforded a great holiday for the same cost, or some good quality wardrobe staples. I can only think it was the general fomo and whipped up spending frenzy that went along with being a freak 😔

I don't understand why she goes to Sicily if she's just going to lie on the beach. They are shingle beaches too which are definitely not as pleasant to walk on as sandy beaches. We spent a fortnight travelling round Sicily this summer. There is so much to see and do. It seems a waste to just lie on her arse every day, especially when she's bored of doing so.

You're not alone. I still read a lot of the advent calendar threads on different places as I love feeling the general excitement, but I also make myself read the post- release posts, where the typical reaction is disappointment and slight regret but consoling themselves they got one particular thing, and a pile of average stuff (which was my experience too).

I've only ever bought one Advent calendar and it was Lumene. Really great choice and perfect for me as I constantly travel for work and could take the miniatures with me. I've since bought several full size products from the brand. They do good sales.

I imagine the staff at the SR office are relieved that The Boss is away today.... Trinny had TWO slots on This Morning, her fashion slot AND a phone on asking for advice on skin, hair, fashion and starting up in business 😂😂😂
Poor poor Jim, if he's got any sense he will have already taken himself off on a sightseeing trip on his own today😂

Perhaps he should do the Mafia Tour… 😜😆
