Sorry I’m crossing streams here but lol at any media outlet calling the Moore’s hypocritical. One of my lockdown highlights/lowlights was screaming at the telly with my flatmate as poor ol’ Cappy T was pimped endlessly by the BBC to “raise money for our NHS’’. That’s our national broadcaster promoting our national health service like it’s a charity. In the middle of a pandemic. So fucked up and everybody who got caught up in it is just as complicit imo. I expect dickheads like the Moore’s to be morally bankrupt. I shouldn’t have to accept the same in our national institutions.

To stay on thread, all the same points apply to AI Carlz. She’s allowed to be an idiot. None of us should know she exists (sorry I know this is all very old ground by now but the Captain Tom debacle just SENDS ME)

I agree. The poor old guy didn’t get a moments peace. I know everyone wanted a positive news item to lighten the gloom, but it was crazy. I didn’t realise for ages that he was walking in his own garden - I thought he lived in a large care home!!!

I thought the same about it being a care home. I wonder if the house was originally his and his daughter and her family moved in To ‘care’ for him? She seems the type to use the opportunity.
I watched the short recent bbc documentary on it all (out yesterday) and I was watching her face during all the media appearances, and she’s clearly lapping it up, even tho the attention is for her dad. Also went back and watched her interview with piers Morgan, Christ. How can anyone believe anything that comes out of her/their mouths? Thought it was pretty low getting her kids on there too, especially the 14 year old. Probs for sympathy.
