Because she thinks it sounds more important and professional.

No one understands the complexity of CIC regulation and all its onerous requirements like Carly. And any concerns are ill-founded and motivated by spite and ill will towards St Carly of the Salt

Okay confession time again Tattlers. Which one of you is Carly’s ex?

If she is on benefits and if she has used the money for her own personal use, benefit fraud could be added to her charge sheet.

Though that would be insignificant when we are talking about the theft of up to £250k.

I was surprised that Your Harlow hasn't done an update, they have been there since the start and interviewed her after the saltening. I was expecting them to write about her new plan moving forward.

A huge part of me is hoping they aren't publishing because something is going on behind the scenes.

I don’t think Your Harlow has the same panicky “publish my brain fart” need for engagement that Carlz has.
Much better to save it for when something tangible happens.
Im up for them writing to Whiskers for clarification on the criteria and application process for the 100k though
If they publish a story they always follow up the moment any new information comes to light. Even if it means two posts in one day, though with same day things he usually just puts it on Facebook again saying its updated.

Two weeks ago it was all about some lights that were out on a hamburger roundabout, he did an article on it, he went and filmed it, and then updated us as various entities blamed each other. It was a big story because it was potentially lethal as its a hamburger roundabout.

He updates everything that he's reported on, hence why he's written so many articles on Carly.

"booking"

It's not even "an allotment" in a school, is it.

It's just a "vegetable plot" or maybe a "community garden".

Wait till she hears that some train stations have "community planters" on the platforms containing vegetables as well as flowers (mine does), it's going to blow her mind that people are already making community use of these spare spaces (and have been for years). it makes it look nice for the commuter elders that go to work and the tourist elders that come to see our cathedral.

Wut?

My first thought: She can do a booking form for schools (who won’t use it), but vulnerable people in need have to rely on begging her for food on Facebook, where she may or may not read their DM, and they may or may not get food based on being allocated a slot based on when they sent their message and if/when she bothered to read it?

Then I went to the website and realised that no, no she can’t do that either, all I can find is a basic contact form that goes to her Hotmail account- it’s a stretch to call it a “booking form” (and quite what they would be “booking”, I cannot tell). It’s as well organised and professional as the art installation of mouldy panini on her driveway.

Hey it's a step up from her original replies that were giving a mobile number for applicants to call or whatsapp or whatever.

Do schools talk to each other? I assume they do, even if they're not in the same academy trust or whatever, and even now the email distribution list is on fire with "just a heads up, do not get involved."

I was thinking this. There must be some kind of local heads network or something.

Considering she was, ostensibly, offering to fully fund a garden space overall, there's got to be a concrete reason why they turned down the cash

Most local LEA schools form clusters to share good practice. Academy schools in the same Trust use the same infrastructure for admin etc. This woman appears to be a walking safeguarding red flag which an experienced SLT will spot a mile off.
