I may be barking up totally the wrong tree here and apologies if so, but I've noticed Carly tagging "*Surname* Gardening Services" in some of her nonsense - is this Wayne's company and therefore surname? Because if so I've googled the name and things are not looking good at ALL. If it is him (I'm happy to share what I've found but don't want to in case I'm wrong) he's not long out of prison for the second time, for some very not nice stuff.

My salt baes! I cannot believe I’ve fallen so far behind AGAIN. I’m still on the last thread but wanted to drop in quickly to share a small 🧡 and a token of thanks with those who have shared their experiences with their health issues. It isn’t your job to educate me, but I learn so much from how open everybody is here and on the JM threads - without being exploitative! JM and Carlz could never.
 
Back again from the past so apologies if I’m mithering the over-mithered, but something else I find galling about this mess is that she got people to rely on her for the food drop offs because she presented a ‘no strings attached’ solution. Except there are more strings than Pinocchio doing cat’s cradle!

When I’ve looked into food banks around me before, a lot of them needed either a referral or for you to call up to explain your circumstances to get a voucher. I’m not saying these are bad practices to have in place - it’s important to know who is using these services and to have a proper understanding of their needs - but they are barriers. What I really needed was somewhere I could just turn up and get fed with maybe some questions asked, so long as I could get food there and then. There are a lot more of those places around now, including in the estate where I live.

If I came across St Carlz offering to deliver god’s own harvest to my door for FREE with seemingly very little effort from me, I would have been all over it. And then I would have been drawn into dealing with that nutter when tbh at that time I could have given her a run for her money for the nuttiest nut. She’s lucky things haven’t already escalated beyond a drive by salting* considering she’s dealing with people at their most vulnerable.
