Vomit inducing. She treats those kids like babies. For fucks sake, Erin will be 14 this year! When I was 14 I wasn't hanging out with my mum and meeting kiddie characters in costumes and Ethan starts senior school in about 8 weeks time!

Those bracelets, too Emma bought those. There's not a chance on Earth Stephen bought those, she's just trying to push the "my husband is such a good dad/my husband has a personality" narrative. 100% the blob bought them. I would say they are aimed at kids between the ages of 3 to 7, or up to age 12 if they're neurodivergent and struggle with communication. Neither of her kids should be doing the activities she pushes them to do (for content!) OR be receiving such baby-ish bracelets.

She's stunted and that's exactly how her kids are going to turn out, too. She's not equipping them with the tools and skills to become emotionally mature adults and productive members of society. She's doing them a huge disservice and it's so unfair on them.

My Daughter is 15. The last few years has really altered the time we spend together. It’s more about going for lunches, shops and coffees. She’s becoming a young woman and it thrills me that I can every now and again take her out for lunch and a new top.
The idea that her 14 year old is into characters and plastic crap is absolutely insane.

My daughter is going swimming with her mates tomorrow, I'll be driving them, checking them in and then leaving until it's time to pick them back up. I will also add some money to my kid's card so she can buy them all a bowl of chips afterwards.

(And I shall have a blissful 2 hours somewhere with my book cos it's too far to drive home and back!)
