Oh yes, because she'll be recovered enough to actually go, but it'll be repeated on a loop that she's been "So ill. In so much pain. Just so glad I was able to grace the occasion with my presence after all. But do feel sorry for and tell me how brave I am for being here while my recent *ordeal* is so fresh". And thus, the only thing everyone will remember from Ste's brothers wedding is that *gasp* his grellow sister in law ALMOST couldn't go.

This is EXACTLY one of the things that a narcassist does. Narc's turn everything into "all about them". Her bathroom breakdown was a textbook narc trick, too - throwing a tantrum about how we were stopping her from being a nice mum because she got caught out in a lie. They twist things to gain sympathy and make others look like the bad guy(s).
She'll also be telling every fucker at that wedding that the hair clip she's wearing was her bridal hair clip at her own wedding, to get attention.
