I am honestly in shock they went away for 2 months when they have a dog, no matter what the age but definitely an elderly dog. It would never enter into my mind?! I really hope this is a lesson learnt for them both.
A few weeks? No chance without a Drs note for bereavement affecting your MH and ability to work. Most people wouldn’t even ask for this unless they were beside themselves.
What cunts they are. The one thing I always gave Bog credit for was adopting an older dog and now she’s managed to duck even that.
Brogan made a comment about bongo’s mum having a younger dog which Bonnie wasn’t keen on so they usually use brogan’s mum as Bonnie was happy thereAlso isn't it weird that Benj's family never took care of Bonnie? They probably had an argument about how Laurel and Hardy went away all the time and expected people to keep Bonnie for free and canceled their own plans.
I only got 2 days off when my dad died. My cat was killed and I was basically told to go over it.Some of you need to get different jobs, I had a week off work when my cat died and they sent me flowers. There's even jobs advertised now where you get bereavement leave in the case of pets.
She's so bleeping weird. Why would you put this on your Goodreads page in the first place? It's not like she only read books about dogs. She’s taken Bonnie off her GoodReads bio now too - wow she really has lots of spare time to get rid of all traces of her ‘beloved dog’
My pet insurance covers holiday cancellation if my cat were to become ill. Considering how often they travelled, I would've expected them to have cover of this sort, if they had insurance at allI am in now way defending them, as I would not have arranged to go away for so long when my pet was so old and failing, but the wedding/cruise will have been booked way ahead, perhaps when Bonnie was well. Having committed with final payment at least 12 weeks before, they would have had no choice but to go, or lose about £40k minimum. There was nothing they could do at that point, even if they wanted to. No insurance would cover them and they would not get their money back. As much as I love my cat, if I had committed £40k I would be going ahead with the trip. I recognise that won’t make me popular but this is the reality of their situation. Of course we will never know the truth of how they came to make the decisions they did, but it is an incredibly sad situation and I hope they learn from this and, given their lifestyle, don’t get another dog.
They throw money away at the drop of a hat on nothing. To me, a pet is a family member, and I wouldn't put that above them. It would be financially painful, but I can make more money, I can't make more time, especially with loved ones.I am in now way defending them, as I would not have arranged to go away for so long when my pet was so old and failing, but the wedding/cruise will have been booked way ahead, perhaps when Bonnie was well. I get what you are saying but….they said they wouldn’t go away if there were any concerns about Bonnie and would come straight home if there was any need to. All lies. They are terrible people.I am in now way defending them, as I would not have arranged to go away for so long when my pet was so old and failing, but the wedding/cruise will have been booked way ahead, perhaps when Bonnie was well.
