Bridgerton

What was all the talk about the two of the them on the PR trail? I missed all of that when it came out
---
Were they together or not together? Or do they not actually like each other?

They just played the PR game very, very well (and are genuinely close I think) so had everyone convinced they were shagging. Have to admit there were a couple of 'incidents' that even had me convinced for 5 mins!!
In reality Luke has been in a relationship with someone for at least 6 months. Crazy internet fans seem to be having a hard time accepting this fact.

Fans forget they are actors! They definitely played the PR game.

Oh no sorry I wasn’t clear I meant on the QC Pr trail, not Luke and Nicola 😊

Ah I just finished Queen Charlotte and really enjoyed it. Both George and Charlotte did have weird enunciation at certain points!

I loved young Agatha. Possibly a spoiler but I’m annoyed with myself I didn’t clock who her neighbour’s daughter was until the end. The name made me think of a girl in my daughter’s class, rather than remembering it’s a characters name 😂

Reading Colin’s Bridgerton book (not read any of them before, but saw it in Tesco and fancied giving it a go) and actualy quite surprised how different it is from the show. It’s an easy mindless read really but it annoys the hell out of my how Julia Quinn uses the word ‘mumbled’ or ‘ground out’ for nearly every sentence a character says. Where is the editor and why wasn’t that immediately picked up on!!

Queen Charlotte is one of my most very favourite things I've ever watched, the casting, everything was phenomenal. The ending had me balling like a baby, even thinking about it tbh. It was honestly PERFECT, nothing I'd change. I loved S1 Bridgerton, but I'd still pick QC over it. Didn't like S2 Bridgerton, S3 negligibly better but still meh. If you are going to expect a 2 year wait between series without losing viewers you need to do a hell of alot better than that. I literally see zero chemistry between Luke and Nicola on the show or real life, I honestly don't know what everyone else is looking at lol.

How come you didn’t like s2?

Yessssssssss I watched it for the second time last week and it was even better than I remembered. It is SO good! I could hardly handle it at some points I was crying my eyes out. I just loved everything. The Violet and Agatha - and young Agatha & Vi's dad - storylines were amazing. Brimsley and Reynolds- OH MY GOD. I wish there was another series being made showing more from over the years.

Has anyone watched My Lady Jane? I thought it was so funny and the leads had great chemistry. They didn’t ham up their chemistry in their press. Their chemistry on screen is still good and the show has done quite well. Goes to show that leads don’t have to be misleading about their personal relationship during the PR for viewers to watch and appreciate the show and the chemistry…

Give me strength 🙄
