The fabric looks so cheap too. Like her mom made it for the nativity play or something 🙊
 
I’ve just finished first half. Enjoyed it for the most part, it’s perhaps got less humour than before. And Colin and Pen story moves a little too quickly compared to the couples in previous seasons, but of course we will have the will they/won’t they in the second half when he finds out she is Lady W
 
Have finished episode 2, reluctantly watched as Colin Astley is not my archetype lead, but I needed colour and glamour and lightness this week.

Agree that Kate was smuggy and overacting,
Difficult hear the beautiful Mama Featherington mumbling.
Distracted by Penelopes heaving bosom, also distracted by the shine of Francesca cheekbone highlighter and that she resembles Lily James. Still can't bear Eliza.
Bored of the lesbian threesomes.

pleased i won't see Anthony stomping around like an child sized angry squirrel this series.
Benedict's character needs to rounded for whenever his time comes.
3 series and still don't know the bridgertons well.

It's pretty rubbish really but I know I'll watch all of this series now.

Who's Eliza?
 
Why are they turning up Penelope's heavy breathing so much. By all means keep some in the sexy scenes, but was it necessary in the scene where Colin cuts his hand? She sounds like a race horse, it's so distracting.
I don't know what is in store for the second half of the season, the falling in love arc seems rushed. But new Colin is doing it for me tbh.
