She's said she's been to B&M. Those are the size they sell there. She clearly bought them herself why such a lying head.

Can’t believe she’s bought her 2 year old his own tablet. Am I just old or is this the norm?
Definitely not. I’ve just clocked over to 35. Have a 4 yo just started school. My husband said one day she’ll need her own tablet for school apps, but we have iPads so she could just use those.

But I guess I allow my children free rein of the house, their toys are around, we eat together, we make food together, play and read together and cuddle to sleep. I don’t use tablets to keep them away from me or amused while I’m drinking.

firstly how fast was she going to be prosecuted?

sorry if i don't know how it works i've never had a speeding fine or anything.

secondly what is with the baby voice in her charityhahl.

you don't sound like that

I got one about 20 years ago. Then if you weren't too far over the limit you got a letter saying you had to pay a fine and got points (which I did). I don't know how fast you have to go to be banned etc. Now if you're just over the limit, I think you can do a course instead of taking the points.

Similar here. Early 40s. Mine got those kids tablets when they were 6. Plenty of board games to play with, lego, books, baking, kids tv, the odd school art project. And I still worry they have too much screen time!

If you were going a certain amount over the speed limit you can go on a speed awareness course and pay £30 I think. You don’t get points on your licence. Or you pay £100 and take three points. If you’ve already done a speed awareness in the last five years you have to pay £100 and take three points. If you are going over 100 mph on the motorway you have to do a different course. If you plead not guilty you have to go to court.

It is not any cheaper to go on a speed awareness course, you just don't get the points. It is charge by county and I had to pay £90 about 3 years ago. They can also be done every 3 years. She has received the initial notice to declare if she was the driver or not.
