Bisonettes Battle the Bulge

My breakfast is roughly the same every day, sliced meat and a yoghurt or ready brek with protein powder and a yoghurt.
Have to say when I lost weight first time around I consistently had tray bakes for tea and I do think that was a big part of it so I really need to do it again but I can never be arsed with the chopping. But it’s so good when I do do it, I have an air fryer now so I bung it all in that
I do a lot of prep on Sundays. So when I’m get home from work it’s sooo much easier

What did you put in the tray bake? I could do with doing that. I have a young baby and no time some days to cook if she very clingy

All sorts, whatever I have around - so for example various colour peppers, cherry toms, onion, courgette, carrot, whatever else I have around. Maybe green beans, sugar snap peas etc. If I do sweet potato I cube it and zap it for a few mins first as I find it stays hard otherwise when everything else is cooked. Then protein is usually chicken breast or maybe sausages. Chunk it all up so it’s all roughly the same size, whack in the air fryer or oven with a bit of oil and seasonings of choice. Then depending on if I have potato or not I may have it as a meal on its own or may add pasta or rice. Sometimes also add a frozen Birds Eye steam veg pack.

Usually end up with two portions so will have the second portion for lunch next day

I finally admitted to my Dr how bad my eating has become...I'm almost 16 and size 18 to 20 now...I've never been this big :(

Anyhow the doctor has referred me for a free 12 week weight management programme with weekly weigh ins and some exercise,I'm in the north West....I start literally a week before Xmas 18th Dec 😆

Anyone been on this programme?

Feel like I’m at such a cross roads with my weight. I’m about 12kg down, and I’m sooooooo close to target. Around 3-4 kg left to go and then I can have IVF treatment. You’d think being so close to such an important target would be the best motivation but lord almighty I’m getting in my own way so bad right now. I just want to eat everything in sight. It’s sooo hard.

I can relate to this,a wedding next year and also ivf.. but seems since I got this referral I'm using it as a excuse to eat everything before I get seen to :(
 
I'm suspiciously hungry this evening. To the point that I knew something was wrong in my tracking for the day. Sure enough, I accidentally logged 2 ciabatas this morning instead of one.

It seems I've developed a new superpower. Psychic calorie counting. I can tune into my stomach and guess how many calories I should have left for the day.
 
how’s everyone doing in the lead up to Christmas? I had some flu thing a month ano and totally lost my appetite so wasn’t being strict on what I ate if I managed to eat something. Trouble is appetite has been back a few weeks and I’m still merrily eating what I like. No binges tho so that’s good but I can tell I’ve put on a few pounds. Not going to stress on the actual day tho! Well, Boxing Day, cos that’s when we are doing the big roast.
I accidentally found out I have a treadmill for Christmas tho and I’m v excited for that altho god knows where it’s gonna go but at least I can get some exercise in with these darker nights
