Bisonettes Battle the Bulge

Calorie counting starts again for me tomorrow, I lost 4 stone during lockdowns and put it all back on since, recently had a baby too but starting to have more of a routine again so feels like the right time to do something about it.
Gonna aim for 6000 steps a day and 1750 calories, the weekends are my downfall so need to try and stay consistent. I’ll give it until January but then I might try the Weightloss jabs, I’ve done it before without but if it’s too hard this time I’ll need to try something else to help

I’ve decided to give Mounjaro a go! First injection was Monday night and noticed a difference straight away yesterday.
Well done bisonettes. Keep battling.
I’ve always been a bit against this for some reason but ppl are having such big results and fast I’m starting to be tempted

It’s very personal isn’t it
I’ve been up and down the same 2-4 lbs for MONTHS. I think I’ve lost a max of 7-10lbs this year and I am TRYING. I’d rather try this tool than keep being miserable tbh.

I think it’s the thought of what is in it.. will there be long term side effects, what happens when u stop etc ppl are having such great results though.

Love this! So I was a good size 24 (probably a 26 if I was being honest and not being very selective in what I wore) at the start of July. I am now just over 3 stone down and the difference is amazing! I have a long way to go yet but for once, it feels like it might actually happen!
I am now where you were, size-wise. Currently going to the gym for cardio and mainly eating healthily, but also still secret eating, although it's a lot less than I was doing. I am determined to get this sorted now. I am 51 in two weeks and my mental health has been on the floor, not helped by my stressful job. I have the same name as BJ but different spelling and ilshe triggers me as I see some of my actions in her and it makes me feel irrationally angry and sad for her at the same time. I'd give anything to be her age again, or the 11 year old where it all started and have a healthier relationship with food, better self-image and confidence. But all I have is now and the future to work towards.

Good luck to everyone who is fighting the flab. 😊❤️

Bonjour my bisonettes

Started calorie counting 5 weeks ago. Put so much weight on the last couple of years after my long term relationship ended and I fell into a depression session from the fall out of it.
Unfortunately for me I’ve never been one of those who loses weight when I’m sad I fall into a horrible cycle of binge eating, skipping meals and just generally not caring.
Anyhow I’m 16lbs down so far started to feel happier for eating better and have been really enjoying cooking from scratch again.
Got a years membership with Nutracheck, try not to go over 1700 cals a day but I have some give and take cause I’m a fat duck.
I’m peri menopausal too and have noticed it’s coming off slower than when I was below 40 (age not stones)

Soum yeh that’s me
Love you all 😘
You could literally be me in what you've said. I feel we may be kindred spirits! 🤣

Does anyone else eat the same thing every day??
I do calorie counting and have lost three stone. People ask me how I’ve lost weight and it might be boring for some but I have the same thing every day. I have a ‘roast dinner’ every night. Half of my plate is vegetables piled high and the other is vegetarian sausages and a few potatoes. People think I’m so weird for having a roast every night but it is so filling and I am guaranteed to have a great poo the next morning to set me up for the day 😂😂

Me.. weetabix for breakfast. Salad with quorn for tea and stirfry with butterbeans for tea. I'm bad at sticking to the same foods though

My breakfast is roughly the same every day, sliced meat and a yoghurt or ready brek with protein powder and a yoghurt.
Have to say when I lost weight first time around I consistently had tray bakes for tea and I do think that was a big part of it so I really need to do it again but I can never be arsed with the chopping. But it’s so good when I do do it, I have an air fryer now so I bung it all in that
