That’s an iPad 😂
Nope, it’s the iPad first then she gets the laptop out…

I am very much looking forward to the spin she places on losing her job. If she’d resigned, we would have all heard about it by now (and probably in the weeks leading up to handing in her notice). Is she going to claim some kind of jellycat addiction discrimination was behind their reason to let her go? 😂

So Beth finally addresses the elephant in the room “I’m in between jobs but I won’t go into that now”….you were sacked Beth. If you weren’t sacked and handed your notice in then you’d be screaming it from the rooftops.

I also like where she says “I’m taking time to decide what I truly love and want to do”. No Beth, you’ve been having interviews for the last 2 weeks, so you’re actively looking for a job….that’s not taking ‘time out’, it’s applying for jobs and not getting them 🙄

She was definitely sacked and they’ve paid her for her notice period. I’m an employment lawyer and this is a classic move when an employer wants to get rid of a problem or useless member of staff. She doesn’t strike me as the type to have much in savings, so the obvious answer is she’s still being paid for her notice period. You also don’t need a fair reason to sack someone in their first two years of employment, so they wouldn’t have needed to go through any kind of process with her.

Came here to say this. The fact she says she’s in a privileged position and doing shopping trips, likely means she got some kind of severance / notice period pay. But she knows it will run out quick hence all the calls.

We still can’t rule out redundancy… the cost of living crisis means budget cuts all round and agencies like hers are always the first to go . But also very likely that she’s just a bleep spending work hours on social media and it’s become obvious. I recoil at the thought of having to work with someone like her.

Even if she was made redundant, she wouldn’t legally be entitled to anything other than her notice pay. They could call it ‘redundancy’, which might soften the blow for her, but she wouldn’t get a redundancy payment. (Unless there’s something in her employment contract which entitles her to a payment over and above what she is legally entitled to, but I would be surprised at that!)
The amount of time she spent faffing around on social media, I’m surprised she lasted this long in her job.
