Looking at her stories about her "busy week" last week .....this included 2 nights in a London hotel on her own, an afternoon tea at Sketch to discuss her book club 
, evening meal out with a brand (Elizabeth Scarlett, much touted by influencer hunz) for her "Earth Mama" launch 
, then another morning meeting & breakfast with Child's Farm which she could actually have taken Ziggy to ...then onto a "working lunch" and then a mum to be massage

Do influencers get paid to attend these events? I can’t see how its worth the cost of travel and a hotel in London just to attend brand breakfast / lunches and dinners for 2 days. And even if brands do pay, it must be substantial to cover the costs. What exactly are they paying them for? Basically turning up, eating food and perhaps posting one photo story from each event showing the product?! I’m so perplexed by the influencer world.
They'll have arranged a fee for posting on their grid ( for engagement- some can get £££ per post!) and she'll probably be gifted stuff for promoting it and she'll probably write off the hotel stay on her tax return as "expenses"
it's certainly not a sustainable way to make a living longterm.... cant imagine her continuing to do this for ever , hence why she's training in something else

In my past career, her week would have been called a ‘jolly’ and certainly wouldn’t have been clocked as work.
