Lol who goes to Rome and complains it’s busy
If you saw Ziggy in the wild and didn’t know who he was, you’d have no idea if he was a boy or girl. Which is exactly what she wants.Poor Ziggy. She didn’t get a girl so she gives him a bun and beige life. I love my son, dress him like my son and he’s got a colourful life. Imagine the gender disappointment lasting 2 years of his life… poor kid
Remember this is Beth , the intrepid female traveler who led us all a merry dance , leading us to believe she was visiting far flung places on her own, when in fact she was traveling with herFlabbergasted that she’s traveled to Rome with ‘no research’ & with a toddler and has the audacity to moan that it’s too busy. Her level of arrogance is unbelievable
Maybe if she'd "researched", she wouldn't be there on marathon weekend
It was the complaining of people getting up at 7am to take photos that make the attractions look empty which did it for me. That was literally her three years ago!!
There’s nothing wrong with it. If you want to get nice photos of course you have to get there before the peak times. But she can’t complain about how busy it is and how people make it look empty just because they got there early, that is literally what she did when she was travelling! I remember a blog post she did about how she had to get up at 5am when she was in India to take photos of her at the Taj Mahal.to be honest so what if people do do that...
It's Lent. In a Catholic country and where the bloody pope lives. Is she thick?
Couldn’t agree more! She’s pretty much discounted an entire country because she was admittedly unprepared and uninformed, and Rome has cobbled streets and busy tourist attractionsIf it’s true that she went to Rome without doing any research, then I think it’s a bit rich of her to complain. Yes, it’s a difficult city to navigate with a stroller because of the cobblestones and the crowds in touristy areas. But the food is amazing for kids of any age and people are beyond friendly to kids. It’s easily manageable with some planning and expectation setting (for the grown-ups that is - I don’t think visiting the colosseum with a baby is a genius idea for example). Also, all the food she’s shared pictures of is disgusting and 100% aimed at tourists (sneakers tiramisu ). I don’t want to be snob, I’m just annoyed at how uncultured she is but pretends she can judge destinations.
