Don't fink he's dumped her but not wearing the ring when she's been hankering after it for so long, is baffling.
Maybe JP is waiting for all his Christmas presents before he does a runner.
I'm here wiff my 🍿 to see what he gets her.... mini candle anyone??

You and me boff

Imagine being in your 30's, and the highlight of your month include a colouring book, watching TV, and buying/making? a Christmas card. No friends. A trip to Harry Potter world, ok, and an image of a clearly uncomfortable JP awkwardly looking anywhere but the camera. There is no way she isn't cripplingly lonely.

I have wondered in the past if she's got learning difficulties. She misses huge obvious social cues with JP (the obsession over him vs. his ambivalence) and seems to struggle to interact well with others (as in having no friends). Her language skills are very much lacking - her pronunciation is so poor and I would say her reading skills are too, you see it tries to read a label and can barely spell out what is on it. Without sounding offensive, many adults with learning disabilities are overweight because it's a simple and accessible coping mechanism - food = good.

Apologies to anyone who enjoys adult colouring, but this image she's done and is proud enough of to put on her Instagram stories - this is the kind of thing an 8 year old does. It's so... simple and basic. It's beyond just 'I'm a lonely woman who entertains herself by colouring'. The idea that she has a minor learning disability really does explain so much of her behaviour.

I don't think she has learning difficulties, i do think her parents are very much to blame.
I know she's got a bro, but she very much the long-waited-for, only-child-we-must-indulge-any-cost type vibe about her

I had a uni 'friend' similar. She was ivf miracle baby and parents were much older, and kept her so much as the special baby girl almost. She used to call her mum hundreds of times a day and tell her everything . She didn't socialise that much, and went home whenever she could. She came accross as slow or leaning difficulties, when you spoke to her as she was so childlike deosife being 18..She was pretty bright tho but if she didn't so well she didn't know how to deal with criticism. She was also overweight, as her mum used to feed her up and send food parcels of nice food.
I think her parents were pretty well off as she got everything she wanted.
She dropped out after the first year as didn't like being away from home (even tho she went home nearly every bloody week)

Becky really reminds me of her, altho she was far more likeable, but I guess it was less problematic at 18

I think you might be right. I flitter between thinking she's got legitimate learning difficulties/disabilities, and whether she's simply, well, very unintelligent. I think you might be spot on with it being the parents - I can imagine as she grew up, they fixed any problems, made anything she wanted happen. The problem with that is it raises a very lazy and entitled adult who generally turns out stupid as they come, because they learn no problem solving, or how to compromise as a kid. They also have no idea of moderation because they've never gone without.

I think that but then I see her do something so mind-numbingly basic (like being unable to read a short word) that I do wonder if she's got a condition.

let’s be real though H&M sizes are all over the shop with their sizing. I have clothes from an XL to 4XL from H&M that all fit.

I think the problem is, I'd get it if you saw her in an XL sometimes and a 4XL the next... but she's consistently, always, in a 4XL or a too-tight 3XL... and she wears a 30/32 in Yours... and the New Look and ASOS try-on hauls where she buys 26/28s are consistently too small. All the shops that don't go above a 24 she no longer does try-ons for at all.

So I'd say she tends to fit pretty consistently across all shops, she just doesn't want to accept the fact that she's a 30/32 in most stretchy clothing and a 32/34 in anything tailored or non-stretch.

But you never see Becky pick up an XL do you? It's already the biggest they do and that's clinging on by a thread. Since they changed the sizes I'd say the majority of garments are correct . The old style sizing was small. And I'm not exactly skinny myself, but always can find stuff that fits. There's no way on earth she's near a size 24. Every single shop (apart from Yours (which is at times stupidly generous) she struggles with the sizes and blames their cloves, not the fact she's expanding quicker than a bouncy castle.

The other thing I just remembered is that she refuses to measure herself and order according to that size. Multiple comments have asked for it, she said she wouldn't want her measurements online. I get its 'personal' information but if she's claiming to be a certain size, anyone could go to the size guide for that store and get her measurements based on it. I think the more truthful story is that she's measured herself, realised she should be in much larger sizes than she wears, and doesn't want to admit it.

So she has no idea whether or not the sizes actually 'run small', because she doesn't know what she should be ordering.

Yeah she's completely in denial. When you've been big for a long time you lose sight of what a regular size feels and looks like, especially if you refuse to measure. That can be quite a shock when you finally do 😂

If she is happy with her weight then that's great but it must have an impact on her health.
When you are young you think you are invincible but as age creeps up you realise that your health is very important and lifestyle and choices you made in the past can catch up with you.
Your parents may spoil you but at some point there is a roll reversal and they start needing you more and you have to step up and look after them.

Unfortunately I see so many young women who are morbidly obese wearing the scimpiest of clothes. One I saw recently must have been 30 stone and she was wearing what looked like a ballet tutu. They listen to other fatties on social media going on about body positivity and think it’s normal to look like a hippo. None of them, including Becky give a thought to all the health problems they’ll encounter in later life. If I was her mum I’d be really concerned but her parents are also extremely overweight and obviously don't give a toss. In fact they enable her.

if you constantly wear stretchy clothes like Becky does the weight gain is easy to ignore as her clothes still 'fit' she'd be in for a big shock if she had to find non-stretchy things to haul
but then again, she edits videos of herself and sees her full body more often than most so idk why she still sees herself as a size 24
