Vanessa sounded really cheesed off when Eddie was winding her up. A trail featuring Jo Good was played during her programme this morning and she completely ignored it and made no reference to it whatsoever. I wonder if she ever listens back to her programme as she must be sleeping while it’s on.

I can't imagine Vanessa would listen to even one minute of Jo Good's show. I would love to know what each says about the other, I'm sure Jo would include that fact that Vanessa is "pertantic".

I get the idea that all presenters are supposed to big up each other’s shows, to show solidarity and toe the party line. Scrooge just bigs up her own.

Jumoke Fashola was bigging up Jo Good’s programme yesterday after her (JG) trail was played. She was also cooing about the new puppy.

I wonder why she said she was sitting in for Jeanette’s show for a month. Jeanette seems to be acting normal in her Instagram account after a severe haircut. She’s only been there since September.
 
Aurie Styla on BBC London announced that last night was his last show. He’s on once a week from what I can see. He’s listed as being on next week. New schedule not working out @BBCLondon?
 
Vanessa Feltz now has 20.1k Instagram followers. She can have her own thread. I’m presuming that the Mail article boosted her numbers. Strangely, Joanne Good has exactly the same amount of followers and she’s been on Instagram for years.

Vanessa Feltz now has a blue tick and another 1k followers so 22.5k. I don’t think the blue tick means anything except to verify that you are indeed that person. She talked about it with her handover with Jason Rosam.

She also seems to be posting while she’s on air as evidenced with the last singalong filmed with Jason Rosam. It was posted about 715 this morning.

I've been listening to Outlook on the bbc worldservice, a couple of good stories were about the woman who was stolen by the nazi's as a baby, in order to become a part of their Lebensborn/master race programme during WWII.
Ingrid/Erika spends decades trying to find out who she is.
Another good one was the 2 metal-detecting friends on the island of Jersey, who after hearing a local myth about some buried coins, spend 30 yrs trying to find the treasure.
All episodes are on the bbc site.
 
The first contestant on popmaster must be kicking himself, some quite easy answers he never got.
The interlude between rounds though with Heat of The Moment by Asia :love:

We always laugh at whichever song Ken plays at the end of Popmaster - he takes a ‘comfort break’ and depending on his choice of track you can tell whether he’s just spending a quick penny or not 🤣
 
I love that there are other Radio London listeners on this thread. No one in my family or group of friends listen to it. Given the recent changes though I am struggling with some of the day time presenters… Eddy Nestor in particular. I just find him patronising to callers. Obviously miss Robert in the morning but catch up while I’m wfh on sounds. Not ideal because the news and traffic updates several days later are very confusing!

I agree @Princess nut nut (btw I laugh at your handle each time I see it :ROFLMAO:) I find it too distracting when listening back on Sounds durng the day, it's annoying to keep fast forwarding and equally annoying to listen to old news and travel.

100% agree about Eddie Nestor, each of his 3,000 mannerisms /tics/affecations annoy me so much, it's like torture. But if he's going to have a go at Vanessa about her IG, flagging that she can be earning from it, he might get a brief pass from me.
 
I didn’t realise that there was a Radio London discussion on here until today - and this has led me to register. I hate what they have done to Radio London and only listen to Robert Elms and Vanessa. I find her new Instagram feed fascinating! It is very unusual to post this much.

Yes, found the Jo Good thread and have also seen VF’s Instagram. VF’s feed is absolutely relentless and then provides the source for other stories - for example her daughters don’t like her showing cleavage. it is difficult to listen to her discussing serious news stories now, when I have seen in the bath!

I meant her daughter’s Instagram - they both seem on a drive to get gifted more and more dresses, experiences and beauty product.
