My daughter birthday falls on a nursery day this year and I’ll be sending her in.
they throw a proper little party for the kids there and she only does 2 days a week so she would miss it (I’d also pick her up as soon as she’s had afternoon snack, she’d be furious to miss it! 😂),
But that poor kid spends almost every waking minute in that church hall! (Oh god I hope the party isn’t there too!) he can’t be getting the most enrichment out of that childminder surely

I dont think there’s anything wrong with kids being in childcare on their birthdays, our nursery also threw a party and my daughter loved all her friends singing happy birthday to her. But she’s not in full time, and we spend quality one on one time on the days she’s off, so she didn’t need any more of that.

I do think Ashley should take him out for the day, have some quality time without Ada, do all his favourite things and let him spend time playing with his presents. She can do it and he would benefit from it so why wouldn’t she? Because she wouldn’t enjoy it.

Give it a rest - what exactly is she doing for
Mothers? Flogging them crap they don’t need?

Who’s calling bingo on it being a special day because it’s the day she became a Mum?

Her face when they pop the cannon and she sees it’s blue for a boy….😮 I wouldn’t share that. I hate gender reveals and even more so when the parent has a strong preference for a particular gender and it’s so plain to see, I get gender disappointment can be a thing but then don’t throw a party for it if you’re going to look like THAT if it’s the gender you blatantly don’t want.

You obviously haven’t seen the footage of her and Tommy in France, receiving a phone call from their blood test confirming she was having a boy 😬 the balloon cannon was just for the magazine deal as they knew it was a boy before that.

My brother is born in march and was in childcare part time from about 6 months (both parents working as doctors in NHS, note an actual job). his birthday often fell on childcare days and I remember our nursery taking them really seriously with birthday cake and lots of fuss. I dont see the inherent issue with him being in childcare for his birthday - its what he knows and is used to. But Ash doesnt have a job where she cant juggle things around and take a free day off. Shes obviously not on TV - any ads or reels or crunchy curls appointments could easily be scheduled round Alfies birthday. so there is quite literally no excuse. Surely she could have got Nana down and taken them both to the farm or gruffalo trail. or to seaside for fish and chips.

calling bingo that she'll use the excuse that hes getting a party as to why he doesnt get a nice actual birthday with family as well.

happy birthday alfie!
I agree, I don't think it's always possible to take a day off for your kids birthday. I took a day off for my then 3 year old and he screamed and cried that he wasnt going to nursery because he wanted a party with his friends and not his mum and dad 😂😭😂😭

But as everyone else here has said, it's not like she does anything worth while whilst they're in childcare. It'll be interesting to see what she does with Ada - if she has a party, if she takes a day off work...

bleeping telepathy again.

If your bond is that great, pay more attention. Alf wants:

Properly-fitting shoes
His hair to be cared for, regularly and gently
Appropriate clothing for the season and his body
Support to develop his motor skills
To not be used as content for your pathetic ‘job’
To receive the same love that his sister does

Do we have a link to this?!
