Ashley James #3 Alf’s room lit up like Blackpool Illumination. Is she regretting her little creation?

Just hire a bloody professional! If you can afford to fly to Mauritius (for the second time in a year) at the drop of a hat, you can afford to hire a lactation/breastfeeding consultant. Stop asking Instagram what you should do...unless you're after a #kindlygifted BF consultant?!

And now, more ranting about the patriarchy. How is it a restful holiday - all be it in a 5 star luxury Mauritian resort hotel which has #kindlyupgraded your basic room to a family villa - if you’re constantly on your phone, practically shouting at your followers about your son biting your nipples and your “friends” & their #tabloidhell ??

Regards the biting: seek professional assistance, get that latch sorted, organise a routine that acknowledges teething is hard to do and then share your success story (fingers crossed) with your followers.

She’s secretly seething that it is not her mug in the papers with all these breastfeeding/breast pumping pics of her on holiday!!

The kid probably can’t latch because she can’t support him properly as her phone is always in her other effing hand!

Also, it shouldn’t be groundbreaking to hear about plant based alternatives, she’s literally an ‘ambassador’ for Alpro, ffs. She’s dangerously thick.

For those wondering, Tommy is an account manager for a digital advertising firm - big company but ‘account management’ is pretty much entry level position after internship / placement. There are positions available at his exact level currently, salary is 47-50k which isn’t much above average at London rates. He wanted to become a fitness model but covid (and being trapped with her) seems to have spoiled that grand plan

Took me 10 seconds to find an article on how to prevent biting in breastfeeding - now why can't Ashley do that?
poor positioning is main culprit in child Alf's age- she needs to adopt the koala or cradle position but of course that would mean she couldn't eye duck herself with phone all the time and would have to actually hold Alf rather than him lolling beside her!

I do get why she’s asking Instagram because there’s a lot of knowledgeable people that will follow her and can offer advice but also just pay for a goddam lactation consultant since you can afford it. Also, she’s obviously not got his tongue he tie checked as she’s said in her post or comments that he doesn’t take a dummy possible due to a tongue tie, so may she didn’t want to fork out for that. Also why would you forget to bring your baby’s anbesol which would help his pain immensely!!! Get your priorities sorted. The first thing I do when I go anywhere is make sure I take my 9 months olds anbesol with me because I don’t want him in pain.

What is her content going to be once she stops breastfeeding? Maybe she'll switch to how much she resents Alf and Tommy? Any guesses?!

I honestly think she just likes to go on holiday to make her grid look fancy. Doesn’t sound like she’s having a very relaxing time. Surely going so often takes away like.. the magic and specialness of going on holiday?? If you’re on holiday more than you’re not it’s not really a holiday anymore is it 😅
Also, when you're a parent, you just parent in a different place - definitely isn't relaxing! 😅 a holiday definitely isn't the same for me now I have kids 😂😭

She won’t just stop breastfeeding and be ok, she’ll drag it out for the engagement and say she’s got depression again due to stopping breastfeeding because of the decrease in hormones. Then she’ll go on to self diagnose adhd because that seems to be in fashion for influencers at the minute. Then she’ll probably invade Alfs privacy during his terrible twos and post his life and tantrums and potty training and use Alf for #ads, clothing ads nappy ads ect. Her life will never go smoothly because that’s boring and too normal for her. She’ll probably be out on the piss again reclaiming her youth and getting away from Alf now he’s not dependent on her too

Oh my goodness, the self diagnosis of ADHD /autism does my head in! So many influencers have jumped on that & I just don't get it (themselves and their kids). I wish they would just disappear into oblivion and stop posting every aspect of their kids lives.

Yep!! I never thought of her diagnosing Alf with autism or adhd actually! She’s probably more likely to do that! Also all influencers tit just bore off and get real jobs. There isn’t even one I like or enjoy. I used to like Ashley as we both have babies similar ages and are BF but she’s just pissing me off now.

Who needs a packing highlight??? Just put your phone down and enjoy your holiday FFS 🤬

Packing highlights:

-Took selfies in bikinis while Tommy watched Alf
-Realised Alf didn’t have any clothes
-Filmed Dyson ad whilst texting Lucy Meck
-Filmed Alpro Ad between staged crying selfies
-Courier arrived with Alfs holiday clothes
-Shoved Alfs stuff in bag
-Tommy rang taxi, which I think is so old fashioned and such a classic reflection of the patriarchy
-Taxi arrived, Tommy took the luggage as I was exhausted and just needed some me time
-I’m just so drained from this whole thing

STOP THE PRESS!

A routine!!!! 😱😱😱

I agree an iPad or YouTube on the phone can be a godsend when you’re in the middle of dinner and your baby starts getting a bit lairy! BUT if she bothered to have had him in some sort of sleep routine by now they could easily put him down to sleep at a decent hour then have a nice quiet evening in their beautiful accommodation together with a nice dinner and few drinks. But that’s obviously too mainstream for her, she likes to struggle, or where else would she get her I
Engagement zzzzzzzzzz.

Harping on about motherhood and feminism this morning. Has this one ever heard the expression ‘have a day off love’

Oh and can I also add- I have a successful career (a high level job), a happy marriage and a child and I never feel excluded from feminist posts or any pressure to be anything other than I am.the difference is she’s LOOKING to be offended or excluded. That’s her schtick. I know we are all different but you’ll always find something to offend you if you look for it. Can’t she just get on with her very blessed and privileged life!?

Parents need a bit of quiet time sometimes. I think this one is ok. As long as he’s not on a screen all the time which he isn’t
No, I get that. But literally every single meal they have, they put Alf in front of some type of screen. And from the get-go every single time. Not like he's getting rowdy & they need to keep him entertained.

Imo, it's just lazy parenting to shove him in front of a screen from the start of dinner. If you don't want to deal with him when you eat dinner - get him in a routine
