Sorry but why is make up and nails a priority for having a c section? It just baffles me, it really does
To be fair to her I don’t think all hospitals are strict on this. I asked mine at the time and they said nails were fine, just leave my toes without anything. I didn’t have a c-section, but I checked before going in to be induced. just in case I ended up with one.
Yes, why would you risk your life and life of baby girl just so you look "good for the gram"....it's just not worth it- a medical emergency can crop up in the most well prepared for scenariosI think that’s different, you’re not expecting to need that level of monitoring and so they could use your toes for pulse ox if need be in emergency.
When it’s a planned surgery though (with possibility of massive blood loss) you’re always told to have your finger nails clean for monitoring.
Same here, I had acrylics. Midwife said “what are we supposed to do with those?” I had to rip them off. Lucky they had been on for about 2-3 weeks so we’re grown out a bit.Because of telepathy I went in for induction with my first and got told off about having gel nails. I genuinely didn’t realise it would be a problem so with my second I was sure to have nothing on them
Ha came on to say this!Didn’t we already have the last date night before Thumbelina arrives?!?
I still don’t even think this is their last date night! Do we think she is going in for the baby tomorrow?
nah, cos they're staying in a 5* hotel the night before...and planned CS don't happen at the weekendI still don’t even think this is their last date night! Do we think she is going in for the baby tomorrow?
