This one DEFINITELY needs an Ad notice.

Baby must be coming in the next week if shes got new nails to hold the baby with, can't imagine she would dare give birth with growth. I still think international woman's day.

Thought you couldn't wear nail varnish/gel if having CSection?.....y'know for monitoring of oxygen levels .....
from Tommy's

Your midwife will ask you to remove any make-up, nail polish, piercings or contact lenses before your c-section.

or am I out of date with guidelines?

Ooh sorry I must have been posting as you were! You’re not out of date!

'now I just hope I finally get to have my own positive birth story'

Alf was born healthy, you were home the same day and whilst I can't comment on subjective trauma, all her birth notes overall indicate a successful birth.

Can't wait for all the C-section was a dream posts. 'Baby girl was risen from my womb like baby Simba whilst relaxing tunes played from Spotify in the background.'

She seemed very happy with the birth in the first 6 months did she not?
My take on it, from peicing together what she has said, they checked her for a grade 3 tear but didn't state she had that, so she was stitched up for a grade 2 tear. Then she started shitting herself, was reassed by her physio later and they found that she actually had a grade 3? So that's why she says "stitched up wrong" blahblahblah. When I was being examined for grade 3 tears both times, the exam is AWFUL and I found it difficult to stay still, so I can see how it could be missed.
The "trauma" part is she couldn't handle the pain.
It is bloody painful, but I wouldn't say that's trauma. It's birth!

I've had confirmation from a senior medical professional ,( of 35 years standing) and family member( who also happens to be a medically qualified medical negligence Barrister ) that nail varnish is not to be recommended when having a caesarean section ( elective or emergency) whatsoever ....despite what Professor Ashley seems to think!...but hey, you do you hun, you're obviously an expert who's done their research 🙄
.....but you'd better pop some nail varnish remover in that hospital bag Ash poppet do you need a label for it?

But yes, anyone else it's worth checking. Could she sound any more condescending?! Oh, it's OK for me - but you poor people should check if the NHS allow it.

And she's having a laugh with the fake tan?! Maybe she's just trying to make me forget about the tripod with more ludicrous things.

She does realise she's getting cut open & that she's not going for a spa weekend?! The way she's going on, you wouldn't think she's just about to have major surgery...
