I'm so sick of reading about her collapse after last week's strictly come dancing I even saw an article that said they fire brigade had to come out too 🙄
Cancer is tit and anybody who beats it is amazing but stop going on about her now if she's not well enough to be back competing she should have sat this series out

Should have been an unpartnered pro dancer for the group dances etc. all this touch and go will she won’t she be able to compete etc is probably just really annoying for the other competitors.
 
I agree with what someone said on the strictly thread that the bbc needed her cancer story after the bad publicity that has surrounded the show for months. They needed to up the bravery factor and agreed to her dancing with a partner to boost ratings. She also has the added factor that she has crowns that can flare up at anytime.
 
Is there any indication of how long she'll be out for? I'd hoped Lauren would take over with JB this series, I prefer her style and attitude.

I only read the beginning of an article about Amy's ITT interview and it seemed to insinuate she'd resume her spot soon (but not this week?). I thought the BBC and their insurance would be erring very much on the side of caution and that would be it for Amy this series. Even doing the Christmas special and pro dances to musical guests seems dicey, what if she has another medical episode? That would look really bad for the BBC, surely they wouldn't risk it. I sense they're going to though 🤔

I've never sensed much of a relationship between Amy and Lauren, is Amy close to any of the other pros socially? It seems rather awkward proceeding as a team of three especially if JB gets on better with Lauren and his dancing improves dramatically under her tutelage!

So Lauren was actually only 9 to Amy's 8 years at that point? 🤔 I was assuming that Amy was having a dig at Lauren being far older than her. How strange to make that comment then.

Personally I find Lauren far more youthful and exciting in her dance style and also her general style, outlook and vibe. Amy seems quite staid and old-fashioned when she does choreograph.

I sincerely hope that's not the case.
I presume she would have had to provide evidence of being medically fit to return.

It was too soon, she should have been phased back in, like in most workplaces after serious longterm illness.
Hopefully she makes a full recovery.
