I posted before I think Gloria did what was easiest and most convenient for her. We assume she has a good heart and loves the girls, but what in her actions shows that? The one time she stopped the car to let Ioan hug Elsie? She had plenty of opportunities to help the girls by helping Ioan but her actions show she never did. Ioan was actually the one paying her and she still chose to support Alice over him. Maybe she is scared of Alice. Maybe Alice has paid her off. Or maybe Gloria is just another FM and like most of Alice's FM's is more like Alice than we know...

Maybe she refused the suitcase cause she was scared and later on texted him to tell him that, he understood and they formed an alliance. Idk. But the power imbalance between a privileged white woman who is abusive and delights in her own nastiness and an immigrant domestic worker exists. And whether Gloria is protecting her livelihood, her the kids, herself from Alice’s wrath, Gloria probably knows Alice best and knows exactly what Alice is capable of. I almost feel like that alone should give her a pass for some things because she doesn’t want to be in Alice’s crosshairs and she was unfortunately (for her) employed by them when the divorce kicked off. Siwan is naturally prettier than Malice too, even in her Paris heyday. All the different noses didn't improve AFE either. Lovely brunette hair too rather than fake bottle blonde done badly.

Yeah, I was thinking after I posted that Alice could have ended Gloria's career completely so it's definitely not black and white. Ultimately I feel like Gloria did what was best for her, and while I can't condemn her for that, especially in her situation, I do feel like she's one of many who have let those kids down, and it sort of hits harder because she was their nanny.
Keep in mind she was going through cancer treatment (or presumably had bills from that), and this was her only job. I get why she did what she had to do. I wonder if Bianca is implying she had to leave her abusive marriage, like IG, with only the clothes on her back. If so, no wonder they bonded so thoroughly and completely.
That is so funny you recommended the Oodie, my 19 year old step daughter lives in hers and keeps telling me I should get one. I'm the type of person that strips off my work clothes as soon as I get home and put on my comfy pants and fluffy socks so I feel I would be an Oodie devote. I was cold all day today. I got home tonight and jumped into the shower just to try and warm up.
