No I don't believe him either. It is possible to advertise you are being charitable in a non braggy smug way - so I don't know why he wouldn't mention the fact he has ongoing charitable projects. He didn't even mention them in that Guardian article. This latest thing just comes across as totally defensive.

FunForLouis' video on the 'source to sea' charity canoe was miles better than what Alfie put out. He explained what the charity was about and technically was much better, much more interesting to watch. Just shows how little effort Alfie puts in with his vlogs.

To be fair, this is the same guy who quote tweeted a newspaper article that showed his address, where he said 'please stop showing up at our door'

We can't expect him to be logical if there's nothing going on upstairs
 
He forgot his wallet in the office.. Forgotten to bring his swimming trunk (didn't he just donated them away), forgotten his gf (who just needed to ask YouTube to send her to said trip but we all know she got phobia)
